We had the good fortune of connecting with Albert Florvil and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Albert, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
When it comes to work-life balance, I can say without question that my balance has definitely shifted over time. It really came into view when I launched three separate businesses at the same time. Along with that, I worked a full 40-hour workweek that dealt with a lot of physical and emotional stress. It was taxing and made me see that I was lacking balance. It wasn’t until I realized that I needed more time that I understood how truly important balance was. If I had more time, then balancing all of my business ventures and my career would be easier.

Therefore, my thoughts on balance are simple: time is the key to maintaining balance in all business ventures and life in general. Once I was able to manipulate my time, it made finding that balance easier. Now, my work-life balance is top tier due to creating a system that works for my family and me. Thinking about how to achieve that balance is stressful, so I say don’t. Instead, continue to move and work around the clock. If you’re not moving, then you’re not eating. It’s as simple as that. The balance will come as you become more comfortable with your workflow and the amount of time you have to complete your tasks.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am currently a Police Officer. I’ve work in one of the most prestigious areas and have been proud to be able to see e and protect the citizens within the county. This career is something I’ve been working hard to get into for 4 years as of 2014. It definitely was not an easy process I honestly do not know why but the right department have me a chance. I’ve learned to be patient and truthful always. Always chase your dreams never give up and continue to work on your personal dreams. You can have a 9-5 and create a six figure businesses

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If they wanted the nightlife, my go-to spots in Atlanta are the HIDE Lounge and the Boiler. I always take my peers to these two locations when they’re visiting because either one is a guaranteed good time. On top of those two places, we’re definitely visiting Escobar Lounge, which has some of the best seafood without breaking your pockets.
