Hi Aisha, owner of Royale Girl Boutique we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I would say my business idea emerged from my true love of fashion, which I developed after I got my first job back in high school. During this time, I found a new hobby of shopping, as I was now able to fund and purchase fashion items that I desired. I was also a teenage mom during this time so I was always out shopping for my daughter. I was in the mall so much that I considered it my second home. I was able to cultivate my own style and gain the ability to put outfits together in minutes. After a while, I started getting so many compliments on my style and inquiries to provide details  about certain pieces I wore. A few years ago, I think in 2018, I remember hearing rumors about local malls being shut down and various stores closing. Although the malls stayed open, many stores did close down, including two of my favorite stores. I was so heartbroken. I later started brainstorming ways to sell clothes on my own and offer cute and classy pieces to other ladies also feeling the economy shift. Although I was hesitant at first to open an online shop, I proceeded to conduct research on the subject and consult with friends. Then one day I finally decided to just go for it! Although there are so many boutiques around, I realized that I could offer something unique to the industry…hence Royale Girl Boutique was born! I created my boutique with the mission to empower women to be Confident, Classy, and Best Dressed!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Royale Girl Boutique is an online clothing boutique tailored to women who love to dress classy and look cute. It features stylish clothing and accessories that one can wear on all occasions whether its date night, girls’ night, or just a super cute lounge day! As a convenience local pickup is also offered at a preselected location.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost I would like to give credit to God because without him none of this would be possible. I would also like to thank my family and close friends for their continued support and encouragement.
