“For what it’s worth… it’s never too late, or in my case too early, to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit. Start whenever you want. You can change or stay the same. There are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you’ve never felt before. I hope you meet people who have a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start over again.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald. I always come back to this quote by F. Scott Fitzgerald. There is so much to unpack and be inspired by. More over, that little bit that says “There are no rules to this thing.” Most often I find myself caught up in the “shoulds”. You know them. I know them. For me, they show up disguised as negative self talk that loves more than anything to judge my productivity and worth. Read more>>

One of my favorite quotes is this: “And I said to my body, softly, “I want to be your friend. It took a long breath and replied, “I’ve been waiting my whole life for this.” ~ Nayyirah Waheed This quote sparked my interest in starting my own fitness business. Oftentimes I found many trainers telling humans to, “Get off the couch!” when in reality some humans find it hard to get out of bed or even find the energy to brush their teeth. I know because I was once one of those people. I struggled at times with being in a dark place mentally which resulted in losing strength physically. Hence the reason I wanted to start a business that made strengthening the mind and soul just as important as strengthening the body. I work with men and women and find that women in particular are very harmful in their words to their bodies. My plan includes ways for women to be a friend to their body rather than being an enemy. Anyone that knows me has heard me say a million times that “there are no problems, only solutions.” Life is full of uncertainty. There will always be a distraction, obstacle, diversion, or detour to come in between you and your goals. The trick is to never dwell on what happened. It happened. Now how do you move on? What’s next? How do you fix it? The answer to these difficult life questions are the fuel that drives success! Everyone has challenges. Not everyone is willing to look in the mirror and face those challenges head on! Read more>>

One of my favorite quotes that I always turn to is this by Andy Warhol: “Don’t think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.” ― Andy Warhol I think I speak for most artists when I say we over analyze our work A LOT. Our art is such a vulnerable part of us and often times our self doubt creeps in and gets in the way of us actually creating our soul work. Social media doesn’t help! This quote helps shift my thoughts and focus back to the art itself, my relationship with my art, what I’m trying to express, that this creative process isn’t about anyone else. Read more>>

My favorite quote is ” If you don’t live for something you will die for Anything” I truly feel if you don’t know your purpose in the world this would ultimately help you figure it out in the long run. When I was younger I wanted a tattoo badly ,so I picked the first thing that stood out to me .When I became of age it made more sense to me . If you dream big and find your purpose everything else will follow behind. In my case ,I m living for my nieces and nephews who lost both mother and father ! I’m building my brand of their strength. I love the fact that i truly live by the quote. I love how its not sugar coating anything you either do or you don’t ! I honestly think about it like being in a race with myself ,pushing me to run faster every time i feel like I’m slowing down. Read more>>

If you don’t see what you saw, then what you see is temporary. A lot of people do things without having an end goal or a plan, and it doesn’t turn out the way they want it to. When i started my business, I saw it being lucrative. So I invest every chance I get and make changes where I see fit to make my business as successful as possible. Read more>>
