We had the good fortune of connecting with Abbey Bruggeworth and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Abbey, what do you attribute your success to?
Saying yes to opportunities, no matter how big or small they are. It is crazy how beginning one relationship with an individual or brand can come full circle years from now. At the early stages of abbeybruggeworth.com I was eager to get my name out there locally. I said yes to Photoshoot opportunities and collaborations that are coming back now, three years later, to be full business deals. Say yes more and put yourself out there if you want to be successful.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
So my brand is me, Abbey Bruggeworth. I began blogging three years ago as a creative outlet. After working with brands and individuals, my blog quickly turned into a business. I collaborate with companies to create content for their websites, social platforms, and ads. I also share anything and everything from workouts to recipes to fashion finds on my social media platform @abbeybruggs. Branding myself has opened up the doors to be able to help others with their brands, hence the start of Brugge Branding. This is currently in the works and is actually the first time I’m announcing it in public! Brugge Branding will offer content planning, creation, social media strategy, and best practices.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love a good itinerary!!! If my best friend Leah was visiting for the first time this is what we would do: STAT Wellness every morning for a workout followed by either Brash or Dancing Goat for coffee Breakfast- Kale Me Crazy, Ardens Garden, Tupelo Honey Shopping in Buckhead- LA Green, Lenox, TOLA Lunch- Sama, Chopt, True Food or Flower Child Beltine- PCM, Lingering Shade Afternoon tea at the St. Regis Dinner & Drinks- Umi, Biltong, Yebo, Garden Room

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Hilary Settle, owner of Shop Closetier and Collavs. She was there at the start of my journey as a blogger and her business mindset really encouraged me to pursue content creation as a career.
