Meet Deborah Mosher: Bubbles Over Georgia

We had the good fortune of connecting with Deborah Mosher and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Deborah, what makes you happy? Why?
Giving to others makes me happy. I love entertaining with my giant bubbles at large events because it brings me great joy to see the children run after the bubbles. I love seeing dads get into the action by putting their toddler on their shoulders to let them be the first one to pop the giant bubble! I love watching moms take photos of their children having fun. It’s so cool to see teens enjoy the bubbles too! Bringing joy and entertainment creates a wonderful sense of accomplishment within myself as well. If my giant bubbles can provide an escape from the stress of everyday life, even for a moment, then I have helped to created memories that can last a lifetime.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
In the beginning, my bubbles began as a ministry and later became a business/ministry. I love everything about my bubble business from marketing, entertaining, making costumes, traveling, and even the tedious cleaning of my supplies. I’ve poured my heart and soul into this business. I’ve entertained at some of the largest events in Atlanta, including: Atlantic Station, Peachtree Corners, Brookhaven, Smyrna, Moultrie, Booth Western Museum, Georgia Governor Mansion, and Egleston Children’s Hospital. I’ve also entertained in Cincinnati, Ohio, Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and Asheville, North Carolina.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I moved to Cartersville about 15 years ago from my hometown of Tucker. Cartersville has so many sites to see. My favorites are the Booth Western Art Museum, Tellus Museum and the Etowah Indian Mounds. The Appalachian Grill, situated close to the Booth Museum, is one of my favorite local restaurants.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give a shout out to professional photographer Michael Valentine in Villa Rica. He has taken so many amazing photos of events and people in his community. He captures the heart of each subject in his photos and provides wonderful memories for each customer, whether for industry or individuals.
