Meet Amber Barnes | Actress, Model, Executive Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Amber Barnes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amber, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
What makes me happy is growth and becoming the woman I know I’m meant to be. My daughter Autumn plays a huge role in that. Being able to show up for her, love her, and create a life where she feels safe and inspired truly fulfills me.

I’m happiest when I’m walking in my purpose. Acting and being creative lights me up. Whether I’m auditioning, networking, or attending events, it’s about knowing I’m getting closer to the life I’ve been working toward.

I also value genuine connections. Being able to laugh, talk, and feel understood by people who truly see me brings me a lot of joy. I’m big on energy, so when things feel natural and aligned, I feel my best.

And honestly, peace makes me happy too. Being in a space where I’m not forcing anything, where I can trust the process and enjoy life as it unfolds, means everything to me.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is rooted in authenticity and real emotion. I don’t just act, I pull from real experiences and bring truth to every role, which allows people to actually feel what I’m portraying.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect deeply and make moments feel natural, not forced. I’m most proud of my growth and the fact that I keep showing up, even when it’s not easy.

My journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced setbacks, self-doubt, and challenges, but I’ve learned to stay consistent, trust the process, and keep pushing forward no matter what.

I want the world to know that I’m just getting started. My brand is about passion, resilience, and becoming everything I’m meant to be and I’m coming with real stories that people can connect to. I moved from NC to Atl rest to show the world what I can do. I’m focused and mentally preparing myself to win!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to visit, I’m definitely giving them a full Atlanta experience. I’m a content creator too so I do a lot of foodie reviews and go to a lot places for my content to review.

We’d start with something chill and beautiful like the Botanical Garden, especially the Alice in Wonderland theme. it’s super creative and just a really nice vibe to walk through and enjoy.

For food, I’m taking them to Highness Cuisine, Trap City Cafe by T.I. for that brunch or dinner with good rap and R&B music, and Adana for a really nice, elevated dining experience. And if we want something a little more upscale and fun, definitely Wagyu Restaurant—the food is amazing, the atmosphere is beautiful, and they even have mini robots that bring your food, which is so cute.

For nightlife, we have to hit Club Insomnia. I actually host there sometimes, so I’d make sure we have a great time. It’s one of the most popular spots in Atlanta and you’ll usually see celebrities out, so the energy is always lit.

Overall, it’s a mix of good food, good vibes, and fun experiences ….definitely a week they wouldn’t forget.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First, I have to give all thanks to God for guiding me, protecting me, and keeping me grounded through everything.

I also have to shout out my daughter. She’s my reason for everything. She’s taught me strength, patience, and what it means to show up every single day, no matter what.

I want to shout out my sister in Charlotte who’s been right by my side helping me with auditions, and my mom….she’s hard on me, but it’s that tough love that keeps me growing and pushing forward.

A special shoutout to my brother Quintin Barnes and my dad, rest in peace. I know they’re watching over me and supporting me every step of the way.

To my new friends in Atlanta, my day ones back in North Carolina still holding me down, and everyone who’s believed in me, added me to projects, or even gave me the chance to audition. I appreciate y’all so much.
