We had the good fortune of connecting with LaJada Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LaJada, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
I was saying my work life balance has definitely grown and improved overtime. I believe it took me a minute to really become organize a note exactly what was needed to move for creating the perfect balance that works for me. Within my every day life I go to working a full time job, running different businesses, and also developing my passion in art and modeling. On top of trying to have a social life things can become unbalanced but making sure that I follow every day routine and trying to keep order became the best way for me to stay efficient with all my tasking.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Today, I am a information technology analyst, a licensed nail technician, and a runway model here in Atlanta. Growing up I always was involved in so many things at once; it’s one of the things that keeps me motivated to do everything I aspire in life. Being involved is so much it definitely is not easy however the adrenaline of seeing the outcome of each different tasking and things that I do keeps me motivated to keep going for a greater outcome/end goal. Over the years I have had so many challenges: emotionally, physically, mentally, financially, any and everything you could think of. I’ve lost many people along the way and I’ve been through a lot of trials and tribulations to get me to the point where I am today. But I don’t regret anything that has ever happened or occur because it put me in a place where I am and I am thankful for it. I am the type of person that looks for the pieces to pick up to continue going and I carry them with me along the way for even greater success.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Of course here in Atlanta, people can get very caught up in the social life with the clubs and going out spots. I am very much so a creative person so if I had to take my friends anywhere we would definitely do something that is a long-alize of fun while also being social and going out. Definitely hit up the beltline to be able to get some good scenery pictures as well as go to a little social bars there. But we definitely will still have to go out to a nice club at night to make sure that they experience the full Atlanta nightlife. The next day I will probably take them to a museum or something artsy to where we can have fun enjoy each other‘s company rather than being in the life of the limelight.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
This is dedicated to everyone that helped me through my worst times, and supported me through it all. The ones that never left when it got hard. And the ones who need more encouragement to keep going.
