We had the good fortune of connecting with Rishabh Manocha and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rishabh, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I felt there was great void in the fashion design industry of quality and a consumer-centric approach. As a lover of fine clothing, it was my responsibility to educate, empower and dress people who knew something was missing,
But did not quite know the way forward. With a focus on responsibly sourced cloth from reputed mills, I invited people to go beyond the norm. With bespoke measurements and cutting, they experienced a form-functionality like none other. And, with a deeply human touch of craft, they appreciated the need to preserve this age-old method of making clothing that stands the test of time.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a bespoke tailor and fashion designer. I started my company, R Manocha Bespoke back in 2017 to offer the best of contemporary design rooted in classic sartorial practices. Over the past five years, I have been fortunate to have
gained insight from many industry heavyweights. I started my business focused on sustainability, craftsmanship and
a client-centric design process. The idea is not to be as rigid as some classic tailoring houses, and not be as lacks about quality as many reputed fashion houses.
I aim to deliver fashion the way it was meant to be: well-made, whimsical and empowering.
