We had the good fortune of connecting with Jarvis Young and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jarvis, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process for starting my business was simple because my intentions have always been good in terms of wanting to create an umbrella for myself plus my music peers alike. The motivation & inspiration has always been present so actually going forward with making the proper business choices has truly been an ongoing learning experience.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My drive and hunger sets me apart from others. I’m proud of having my own record label & being knowledgeable a businessman. Taking chances, not being afraid to learn new things and of course LearnMBE. Of course not it wasn’t easy, its still an ongoing process that I always have to keep striving. One lesson I learned that its never to late to take the first step as long as you have the vision. I would like the world to know that if you stay consistent & work very hard there is nothing you can’t achieve. That mindset & mentality has been adopted plus embedded in my brain plus my brand has made it a MOTTO….STAY CONSISTENT.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take my friend to midtown for some drinks & something good to eat at Atlantis its a laid back lounge hookah type setup that is very lit on a friday night or weekend period. During the week we can go to the south side to get soul food from Big Daddy’s Kitchen, and move around downtown afterwards. I hang out pretty much anywhere that has a chill vibe and there are a few places in Buckhead, Hide is a great place for drinks and refreshments to start the night off before going to a place such as Josephine’s Lounge maybe for a Throwback Thursday night of turn up. Another great time I could remember was going to Paradise Lounge in Sandy Springs when I performed in March of this year. At Paradise there were a few of my friends with me, and we had a V-I-P section with food & drinks plus the good vibes.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
LearnMBE is apart of my success and gave me the know how to move forward in this business properly. My mentor Sidney”Super” Eugene Nelson is the founder & creator of this course.
