We had the good fortune of connecting with Queen Vanii and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Queen, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
My business helps my community and the world by offering energetic and spiritual healing through herbal medicine while using recycled and reusable packing.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I got my creative start on YouTube, using it as my own personal talk show about life and living as a single black mother in Atlanta going to college and finding herself. It was a lot of naysay to overcome. So many people were always judging me think that you do everything in your life for likes and you don’t know about privacy because you show your life on the internet, but I stayed true to myself as i was not for likes it was for myself and for people like me who just wanna know that we all just figuring it out. I was speaking into the ethers of space and internet when literally I was the only person watch and listen to my content and videos. Over time that changed and I started to get a lot of views on YouTube and interaction for subscribers and it grew more than I ever thought it would. I never thought that 5 years later I would be hosting my own radio show on nationally broadcasted radio every Monday at 530 on WDRB media. I have learn to continuously foster my gifts and dreams and they will grown than you have dreamed.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Atlanta is such a beautiful city that offers so much creativity. We would check out the YAMMS Burlesque shows for racy enticing burlesques shows, Milan’s Cigar and Hookah Lounge for vibes, good food and music, Honey Pot Wellness for books, crystals and sound bowl sessions, and any other local black owned bars, clubs, restaurants, and shops that I can find.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to loudly shoutout my community, my friends and family who inspire, love, counsel me as I strive to be my favorite version of myself which furthers my brand. I also would love to honorable mention the books the Four agreements by Don Ruiz and Jambalaya by Luisah Teish because they edified my mindset and aided me in realizing my internal strength and talents, really find my footing in my individuality.
