We had the good fortune of connecting with Melody Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Melody, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I started to be a model for motivational purposes only. I sat out to be a person that reminds you that WHATEVER the obstacle, stumbling block ,etc in life is only for the MOMENT while loving& nurturing yourself ALWAYS in the process.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have multiple streams of income but my employment is aligned with my business. I have Been employed at Macy’s for over a decade. Being the lead in Men’s shoes, I have to play the back with inventory, stock, etc and play the front, selling floor, speaking with customers, etc
And with me being employed in customer service, I seen myself being able to deal with people/customers/ brands in my own business.
I always suggest people who is setting out to start a business, at least work a job to get the know of employment, being a boss , etc….it won’t be easy or successful without having some type of knowledge of how to run a company.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
