We had the good fortune of connecting with Via Doll and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Via, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Liquor On The Rim was one of my better drunken decisions. Sitting back and seeing the energy, raw and real conversations I felt this is something that should be showcased!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a dancer I have found a whole different way to be creative. Stepping into new territory is scary but it has truly been an enjoyable boozy ride but I’m grateful to have such an amazing support system and people that truly see the vision and brand. Overcoming obstacles, wanting to quit, thinking maybe this is a bad idea all comes with the business of creating. But you have to say to yourself if I don’t do this now and I wait…I just let someone get the opportunity to do it themselves. Liquor On the Rim is about having fun! Grabbing a drink and having some laughs with my amazing friends that just so happen to be my friends. Normalizing that’s it’s ok to say abcd and its ok for a woman to be honest without having to worry about judgement.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well… its going to have to be a boozy and fun journey for the itinerary! Brunch at 10 & piedmont After drinks next door at G’s Stalk the Slutty Vegan Food Truck Hit Botanical Gardens for “Cocktails in the Garden” Take a Stroll around the Aquarium über and end the night at the Painted Duck

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
If we are talking about Shoutouts no one is more deserving than The77group. They allowed my vision to come to life and take it to a level that I didn’t think was possible by respecting my project and uplifting it to make it bigger than I could have imagined!
