Hi Vasiliy, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
I would say it is a constant need to control timing meticulously. In logistics, every second counts, and any delay can have significant repercussions. For instance, if deliveries are not made on time, it can cause entire factories to stop production, leading to massive losses.

Moreover, my experience in the industry, starting from zero as a dispatcher, has given me a deep understanding of its challenges and opportunities. I know firsthand the flaws and inefficiencies that can exist. This insight was a driving force behind the founding of Turbo XPD in 2021. From the very beginning, we aspired to create a more efficient and effective system. Our mission is to provide transparent, reliable, and customer-focused logistics solutions.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Turbo XPD is a logistics carrier company founded in 2021 with a clear vision: to be different – more transparent, more efficient. Our dedication to these principles is what sets us apart from others in the field.

One of the unique aspects of Turbo XPD is our commitment to real-time communication and personalized updates. We understand that our clients need to be constantly informed, which is why we developed our own Transport Management System (TMS). This system allows us to provide real-time, 24/7 updates through our clients’ preferred channels, ensuring they are always in the loop and can make swift decisions. Imagine getting your pizza tracker, but for logistics – except way cooler and more crucial.

I’m incredibly proud of my team’s achievements. We’ve built an enthusiastic and competitive atmosphere. We’re not just colleagues; we’re supporters, inspirations, friends, and family.
The logistics industry is challenging, with constant time pressures and the need for precise coordination. Starting from scratch, I worked as a dispatcher, gaining invaluable insights into the complexities of the business. These experiences were instrumental in building Turbo XPD.

Throughout this journey, I’ve learned the importance of resilience, adaptability, and maintaining a customer-focused approach. It’s crucial to stay ahead of industry trends and continuously innovate to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Another key lesson is the value of building a strong, dedicated team that shares the same vision and commitment.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love showing off the area and everything it has to offer. I wouldn’t miss places like the High Museum of Art and the Botanical Garden for entertainment, as well as the waterfalls and mountains, Lake Lanier, and the Gold Mine for natural sightseeing. For a great dining experience, I’d bring them to Avalon. We could also check out the Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola Museum, the fireworks at Stone Mountain, or maybe catch a concert or game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. You’d definitely need more than a week to fit everything in.

I would like to dedicate my shoutout to a few key influences in my life. First and foremost, my wife, whose unwavering support and shared family goals have been a constant source of motivation and stability. Her encouragement has played a crucial role in my journey. I also want to recognize the impact of my time in the army. The discipline, strategic thinking, and resilience I developed during my service have been invaluable in my career. The lessons learned there continue to influence my approach to business and life. Additionally, I owe a great deal to the mentors and colleagues I’ve worked with over the years. Their guidance and insights have been instrumental in shaping my professional path.
