We had the good fortune of connecting with TIffany Ellaya and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi TIffany, why did you pursue a creative career?
Being a Creative has always come natural for me for as far as I can remember. I was unquestionably a expressively creative child. I’ve always had a passion and a drive in Fashion and the Arts. It’s what drew me in and calmed my soul. It was my outlet. My favorite classes in school were always the classes concentrating in a form of art. My parents always made sure I was active in the arts through out my childhood and adolescent years. Dance school to Marching Band to Art club and Theater Works, I was signed up for it…Every year. It was fun. It was exciting and it was the one thing I knew I would never fail at.

As I got older, my love for Fashion and Design became more apparent. My 8th grade yr in middle school, I took a Home Economics class. I was taught how to design, create a pattern and sew from start to finish. My whole world changed. I started up-cycling and deconstructing clothes and different fabrics. I would hand sew them (with no pattern) and wear them. I was able to create and wear my own designs, on my terms and my peers loved it. My passion and talent grew deeper. My interest was now peeked Wardrobe styling and jewelry design.

In my 20’s I did my 1st paid photo shoot as a Creative Director. I designed the set, jewelry and wardrobe. I felt more alive than I had ever felt. It was my shoot and I was running it. I then began to take on more designing and styling shoots. My workwas being published in Editorial magazines and commercial adds. I branded my work in a way that when people saw my work, they knew it was mine. My aesthetically free-spirited but edgy style is what has always caught peoples eye. I love fashion and I love to get dressed. When I realized I could use all of these outlets and get paid to do what I love, its completely changed me. I know am the owner of “Sundaze Moon” a Free spirited Lifestyle brand and “Brinton x Clutch By TIffany Ellaya” an Edgy High fashion clothing line and Wardrobe Styling Service.

I ‘m blessed enough to wake up every morning, do what I love and get paid for it. It has come with many ups and downs, sleepless nights and early mornings. Lots of tears of rejection but also amazingly overwhelming career opportunities. I wouldn’t want to have any other career than the one I have now. Creating is all I know. It’s who I am.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My brands are complete opposite of each other but they both embody me 100%. My Brand “Sundays Moon” is very free flowing, aesthetically inclined cultural lifestyle brand. All things natural from the vegan, recycled sustainable fabrics to healing Crystals, stones and handmade jewelry. NO two pieces of jewelry are every made the same, I put lots of love and elbow grease in to each “Peace” that I create.

I also have “Brinton x Clutch”. “Brinton x Clutch” is a high fashion clothing brand and Wardrobe Styling service that acknowledges the Culture through visual concepts, artistic design and a art. Set to launch in the fall of 2021, you can find us in our store front in the East Atlanta Village in Atlanta Ga.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My parents, my daughter, family and friends. They are who I do it for. They have supported me in every project I have ever done.
