Hi Tessa, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
The evolution of my work-life balance from being single to embracing roles as a mother, wife, and entrepreneur has undoubtedly undergone significant changes over time. With each added responsibility, the challenge of achieving balance between work and personal life has become more pronounced. Balancing multiple roles while prioritizing self-care has become increasingly complex.
When I contemplate the concept of balance, I envision harmony across every facet of my life. It’s about effectively managing various commitments and ensuring that I am not consumed by stress or overwhelmed by the demands of each role. Striving for balance means allocating time and energy to all aspects of my life – family, career, personal interests – in a manner that fosters fulfillment and well-being.
As I navigate day-to-day balancing work and life, I recognize the importance of setting boundaries, delegating tasks, and practicing self-care.
I developed the T Sheree & Co. “Plan, Execute, Relax” Planner specifically to assist women in achieving more with minimal effort, thereby aiding them in achieving a healthier work-life balance.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
It’s a pleasure to share more about my businesses, TSG Mental Health Services and T Sheree & Co. At TSG Mental Health Services, I serve as the CEO, operating as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner offering medication management to clients aged 6-64 in Maryland. It’s a privilege to provide essential mental health support to individuals across a wide age range, contributing to their overall well-being.
On the other hand, T Sheree & Co. specializes in creating stationery designed to help women achieve more with less effort. Our core belief is that every woman deserves to thrive both professionally and personally. We are committed to fostering an environment where achieving work-life balance is not just a possibility but a near certainty for women everywhere.
My journey to where I am today as a business owner has been marked by trial and error, alongside the invaluable support of like-minded individuals who shared my vision. It hasn’t been an easy path, but by tackling challenges one step at a time, I’ve been able to overcome obstacles and continue moving forward. Along the way, I’ve learned the importance of adaptability, recognizing that circumstances are always evolving, and embracing each day as it comes.
If there’s one thing I want the world to know about my journey and my brands, it’s this: starting and managing a business is undoubtedly challenging, but with determination, perseverance, and self-trust, anything is possible. Don’t be afraid to pursue your dreams and trust in your abilities to make them a reality.
