We had the good fortune of connecting with Teresa “MiZZ Entertainment” Edwards and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Teresa “MiZZ Entertainment”, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Our thought process when starting our Audio/Video production company and more was to give a voice to the independent artists, producers, and small business owners. So many times, we let the thought of costs stop us from pursuing our dreams. We want to remove that fear and provide services that are affordable. Like our slogan says, “We take the fear out of DREAMING and turn it into an AMAZING reality!”
What should our readers know about your business?
Terror Dome Entertainment is an all things entertainment production company.
We specialize in providing:
· Audio Services: Recording, mixing, and mastering.
· Video Services: Pre-production, Post-production, Editing.
· DJ’ing services to take your party to the next level.
· We have a radio station where you can host your own radio show.
· Host your own podcast.
What sets us apart is our love for creatives. No idea is a bad idea. We help you talk through your ideas and bring them to a reality. And the people we work with are more than just clients. They become family.
What we get most excited about is working with someone with just a thought or an idea in their head. Then going through the process of turning that thought or idea into a dream come true.
We’ve had some amazing success. We’ve worked with people on the Big Screen to working with independents just getting started. And now owning a recording studio. And it’s been an exciting journey. But the road has not been easy. We’ve had to accept not everyone is or will be supportive of you pursuing your dream. But anything worth pursing will never come easy. The goal is to remove those roadblocks. Whether they are family, friend, or foe. And KEEP GOING!
We want the world to know to never fear dreaming. Let us help you turn that DREAM into an AMAZING reality!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It goes without saying that the ATL aka Hotlanta is the most exciting city in the world. We have everything a LA or NY have but with a southern hospitality feel.
So, if you come to Atlanta, you must FIRST visit our studio. We will get you into the recording booth to lay down some hot tracks. Then you will be our special guest on our two shows. Our radio show, ‘The Power Hour with the Real Ass People Society Crew’, broadcasting live every Friday night at 7pm ET on Terror Dome Entertainment Radio on LIVE365. And then on our YouTube show ‘The Real, Raw, and Rugged’, broadcasting live every Saturday at noon on YouTube and Facebook. Then we will finish with pictures in our photo studio to share with friends and family.
After the studio visit, we will go to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights museum. This is a must-see museum. After leaving, you will have a deeper connection and appreciation to those that came before us fighting for our human rights.
After feeding the mind and soul from the museum, we would go to ‘The Beautiful’ restaurant to feed the belly with some of the best soul food here in Atlanta.
Then you must attend the ‘Night of Expressions’ event…hosted by (me) MiZZ Entertainment. I bring together some of the best spoken-word artists, authors, performers in Atlanta to showcase their talents. And I also have an Open Mic segment for those feeling moved to share their gifts.
And before leaving Atlanta, you will attend a master class from the Visionary Creative, Author, Artist, and Mental Wellness coach — Denell Porché. After her class, you will leave centered, focused on your passion and ready to conquer the world.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We give all praises to God for everything. And the next praise and shout out goes to our mothers. May they rest in power. We are a husband-and-wife team that both lost their mothers at an early age. But for the time that they blessed us with their presence and guidance, they taught us the importance of integrity, hard work, to never giving up on your dreams, and to show love to all regardless of their circumstance.
