We had the good fortune of connecting with Taeisha Phillip and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taeisha, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Honestly, I am always had an entrepreneurial spirit since I was a kid. My grandfather owned a soft drinks wholesaling business in th Caribbean in Antigua and from a young age he showed me how important business was. I eventually got older, Majored in College in Business Administration with Concentration in Marketing Management. Starting my own business I wanted to see not just more for myself but I wanted my family to experience having a better life. It was a challenging process at first but once I made the decision, there was literally no turning back from there.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Currently right now I was able to have my Mz Spadez brand and created www.MzSpadez.com. I Created a space for people to grow that are interested in Digital Products, learning from the courses that helps people create residual passive income in their everyday lives. On the website I also have Health and Wellness Products. I am able to help individuals with their weight management. There are so many individuals that struggle with being able to loss weight. I am able to help others by assisting them on their health journey with amazing health and wellness products such as detox teas, pre workout, multi liquid vitamins, and seamoss!

Im Most proud and excited for the journey. I have seen myself fight through the toughest times. So being able to be an entrepreneur for over 15 years has been a complete blessing. I was able to get to where I am today Business wise because I made a decision to never stop learning, You can learn something new each and everyday. Being an entrepreneur, you have to realize you are in this for the long run. Some days are going to be harder than others but it is all about the resilience that you face during those challenges and during the times when things aren’t going the way in which you thought. Being able to pivot and adjust in situations will not only grow you as an individual but it will show you exactly what you are made of!

I was able to overcome challenges by knowing that giving up was never an option.. I take each loss as a learning experience to grow from. So being in business is FAR FROM EASY! It might take some late nights and early mornings to make sure your dreams turn into your reality.

I want the world to know about my brand that everything started from an idea in my head. This simple idea of wanting more for myself and more for my family. As i look back on my brand, I am a 10x Published model that has been able to Grace The Covers of Two Magazines, So being able to now transform my brand into what is it today being a serial entrepreneur in the Tax Field, The Notary Field, The Digital Marketing Field, as well as the Health and Wellness Industry just goes to show you that you should never allow anyone to put you into a box, CREATE, GROW, AND NEVER STOP STRIVING FOR ABSOLUTE GREATNESS!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
This is such an interesting question because I am actually fairly new to the City. I have lived in Atlanta for 3 years now and everything is still so new and exciting to still experience. I have experienced great food in Midtown and Buckhead. If I would take my best friend anywhere it would have to be at Rock Steady, Blue Martini and Third Spot in Atlanta, those have been some of might favorite spots so far. as well as The Atlanta Botanical Garden. Especially if she would be here for a week, I would definitely also have to take her to Atlantic Station. And then to close out the week of the trip, If we would have to hang out anywhere it would Rum Punch Brunch on Sundays.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

I love you so much My daughter for teaching how to be a mom, how to have patience and how to never give up because I have a teenage daughter watching how I handle situations., My grandmothers, and my amazing grandfathers for being an amazing legacy. Without them, there is no me. I want to thank my Best Friend Arielle for always being an amazing person to talk to for strength and guidance.
