We had the good fortune of connecting with Simone Little and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Simone, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve never been great at sticking to someone else’s rules, especially in the corporate world. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and being able to take time off and not being restricted to just the weekend. I felt moved to create circumstances to live life by my own rules.

Working as a Productivity Coach and Strategist allows me that life. Every day I’m thinking of ways I can create more freedom for my life without restricting my income.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My mission as a business productivity coach and strategist is to end the plight of burnout women entrepreneurs. So many business coaches are helping women scale their businesses in some way. That is not my priority. My priority is to help women create ease in business by lowering their stress.

I’ve run multiple businesses at one time. I’ve been burned out while building multiple times, as hard as it is to admit. Through trial and error, I’ve learned how to navigate scaling my business and keeping my sanity. I’ve been able to teach it to multiple women CEOs. The roadblock that I’ve been faced with is being able to help women on a grander scale.

Late 2020, I decided to start a membership to allow women to learn how to live their lives productivity in a holistic way. It was not well recieved. Honestly, I was very discouraged. Negative thoughts flooded my mind, which is not productive at all. Recently, I’ve reopened the membership with a renewed mindset. I’ve had been able to help women scale without stress. This has reminded me that mindset is everything in business. We can achieve anything with the right mindset.

I want readers to know that my mission is not about money, it’s about joy. When women are able to go after their dreams with ease, it creates joy for their family, loved ones and clients.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m such a homebody and because of the pandemic, I don’t even remember how the outside world looks. If it were me, we would have a week in! Each night we would cook an authentic meal from a different part of the world. We would also, attend virtual events like making mixed drinks, paint night, karaoke and candle making. It would be an amazing week in!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate this Shoutout to my Sisters, Toni & Rebekah. They the backbone of my business and they inspire me to keep on going even when I don’t think I can. Anytime I have a new idea, no matter how crazy it may sound, they help me think it through. Sometimes, they are even the ones with the idea. My life wouldn’t be the same without them.
