We had the good fortune of connecting with Simene’ Walden and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Simene’, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Honesty, Integrity, and Transparency are the values that matter to me the most. Being able to be trusted by God to carry out the vision and plan He has given you is huge. If He can’t trust you to do it, He may find someone else to carry it out. Clients and customers must be able to trust that you will deliver what you say you will or you will not have a business very long. Transparency is vital because in order for clients to feel compelled to start sharing with me their stories, I too have to be transparent. It makes them feel much more comfortable and it reassures them that I understand what they are facing in their vulnerable moments as well.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
If you are looking for just a publisher, I am is not the one, but if you are looking for a publisher who will not just help you publish your story, but will help you carry your story, connect with her today. I assist new writers and authors with faith based book coaching and publishing, text editing, braille transcription, speech & storytelling assistance, testimonial cultivation, and course & curriculum development. I also provide small group coaching for those who are ready to unmute and unmask. I hosts masterclasses and courses for those who want to write and publish.
This was not easy at all and the way I was able to overcome was to continuous listen to positive messages and replay courses and classes I had taken in the past. Re-reading testimonials from clients always reassures me I am on the right track. Praying and talking to God often is my #1 strategy. The #1 lesson I have learned to date is know what you believe because one day it will be tested to see if what you say is really what you believe and can produce.
The one thing I want you know about my brand is it was birthed out of my prayer closet and it was not a pick and choose project I saw others doing. We operate with integrity, honesty, and transparency. If it is something we can not do, we let you know up front.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Pack your bags ladies, we are headed to the States’ US Capitol and surrounding areas. Most people call it the DMV for District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia and we will visit all three this week.

There are many shops to choose from and many things to see. Walk around, enjoy the scenery, do some indoor skydiving, and grab a meal at Phillips Seafood.
The next day, visit the National Aquarium in Baltimore and grab some good breakfast at Miss Shirley’s Cafe’. Head to DC to visit the monuments and grab a bite to eat from any of the local food trucks around. Do some shopping in Downtown DC and enjoy a nice Asian meal in Chinatown or grab an upscale meal within the downtown DC area.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First person I want to recognize is my mother. She has supported from the beginning and even when she didn’t understand where I was going or what I was doing, she believed in her baby.
Second is my Speaker Development Coach, Dr, Cheryl Wood and my Cohort of Speakers in Vocalize. Dr. Cheryl’s 12 month program changed my life and assured and equipped me that I have what I need to take my message and voice to the next level.
