We had the good fortune of connecting with Sheilah Mullen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sheilah, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Someone once said,
“Your smile is your logo.
Your personality is your business card.
How you leave others feeling after an interaction becomes your trademark” and that stuck with me.
And also remembering that key to great design is capturing the spirit of the client and the essence of the space.

What should our readers know about your business?
B42 Interiors, LLC  is a home décor and interior  design studio offering unique designer pieces from some of the best vendors worldwide. We believe in creating beautiful spaces which is also  functional  and  comfortable. We work meticulously to the very smallest detail to fit each clients specific wishes, budget, considerations and lifestyles. In believing that good relationships is the key to successful projects, we pride ourselves on building a strong sense of trust and understanding with our clients. Our goal is to satisfy your home desires with quality design, creative imagination, time and dedication to exceed your expectations. B42 Interiors is proud to  have countless repeated clients who consider us their interior designer for life.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A lot of my friends are wine lovers, and one of my favorite places is Château Elan right outside Atlanta. Thai cuisine is one of my favorites as well and Atlanta and Midtown has some great places, like Thai 26 and Snap Fish House. And as a theater buff shows at the beautiful Fox Theatre, and a burger at the Vortex! There are so many great places around Atlanta, and most of my friends and family are foodies, and I’m sure I would never run out of options.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The encouragement of my family, especially my children, and the immense support of friends and loyal clients, who believed in my talent and appreciating my hard work, my passion and dedication to every project.
