We had the good fortune of connecting with Shayna Levine and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Shayna, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Starting a business and growing to where we are today has not been easy. There have been some ups and downs throughout the years. Success isn’t linear and sometimes you may have to take a step back to take several steps forward. In those moments, I pushed forward by remembering my why and the bigger purpose I aim to achieve. I think a lot of people don’t realize the level of personal development that is needed as you operate or run a business. It stretches and challenges you in so many ways. If you lean in and grow through it, you become more resilient, a better leader, and a more well-rounded person. Every success and challenge is intricately designed to push you to your highest good. Embrace it all.
I want others to know that it’s never too late to pursue your dreams. Yes, it will take hard work, discipline, and dedication... But it is possible. All things are possible if you believe in yourself. Levine Contract To Close was started by a woman who bet on herself and leaped towards greatness. That greatness is inside each of us. We just have to tap into it.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Fun spots for shopping or eating, Avalon, Ponce City Market, Atlantic Station, Perimeter Mall Restaurants: Rays on the River, Sundial, Toast on Lynox, Canoe, 5Church rooftop, Spaceman
Activities: Festivals, Concerts, Top golf, or visit a few of the local wineries
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My first shoutout is to my biggest supporter and encourager, my Husband Vince. Babe, thank you for always believing in me and giving me the space I needed to grow into the woman I am today. Also, to my family and close friends who have either stepped in to help or been a source of encouragement. You all are appreciated more than I can ever express. To my mentors who saw something in me and continued to push me to think bigger. Thank you!
