We had the good fortune of connecting with Seon Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Seon, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Starting FaithWalk Global was not a personal choice but a God given mandate. I have dabbled in entrepreneurship before however launching FaithWalk has been a calling. I aim to help propel women to realign with God’s vision for them. As a woman that used to struggle with my identity and imposter syndrome, I understand this hurdle that some women face so well. God has given me strategies and wisdom to pour out to these women through: books, coaching, intercession and cultivating Christ like atmospheres. Ultimately my brand leads women to their source Jesus and unearths the purpose He placed in them.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
FaithWalk Global is a Christ-Centered business whose mission is empower women to reach their full potential. We provide mentorship to young women regardless of their background/race. We provide tools through coaching, books, courses and events to build community. We also link them with E-Courses to start their entrepreneurial journey. Our aim is to lead women to connect deeper with Christ while overcoming obstacles.
This vision was God inspired and came forth through lots of prayer. I have learned to “Obey God Quickly” and have designed a T-Shirt to encourage others to do so. On the journey to writing my first book “Open Vessel” there were alot of hurdles that came up. However I kept remembering what God told me and showing up consistently, then the opportunities became open to complete this project.
What I want the world to know about the brand FaithWalk Global, is that it is a testament that God can turn your pain into purpose. Through God’s grace we are on a mission to spread the gospel and speak life into women that have been felt down trodden, abused and rejected. We will point them to Christ as their heavenly Father and remind them that they were created valuable, capable and are chosen.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love this question
In the Atlanta Area my first go to would be Ponce City Market and the Beltline because there’s so much to do. Being a Lover of Brunch- The Flying Biscuit in Buckhead is my spot. Also another place worth checking out would be Beat the Bomb for a fun experience. Little Five Points, Historic Stone Mountain Village and a Hike anywhere in North GA
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to Shout Out my stepdad and Author of “Kingdom at Hand” Elder Michael Holt for always being a constant support. Also Pastor Lesley Osei for inspiring me.
