We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Scott-Posey and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sarah, what is the most important factor behind your success?
If there is anything the last year taught us, it’s that we need to be flexible and ready to pivot our plans at any time. As a marketing agency owner, that fact couldn’t ring truer. My team and I have to be willing and ready to think on our feet at the drop of a hat.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Copper & Co. Marketing is an agency that’s focused on helping women+ share their missions and messages with the world, one piece of content at a time. Uncovering the message and mission behind Copper & Co. has been a long journey, so getting the chance to facilitate that process with our clients is such a joy!
The best way to charge through the challenges in business is to keep your community close for the times that it all feels like too much. Learning to greet each day with a renewed spirit and remembering the ‘WHY’ behind it all is the greatest skill a professional can learn..
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
WOW– what an ask! Atlanta has the best food and entertainment, so this is easy…
Monday: Pick up from the airport, take them to the Varsity for Dinner
Tuesday: Atlanta Breakfast Club, then the Georgia Aquarium, and dinner at Tin Lizzys
Wednesday: Piedmont Park for a stroll, then Flying Biscuit Cafe for Brunch, Dinner @ my home
Thursday: A lazy day at home, then barbeque on the grill for dinner (we need a break!)
Friday: Braves Game, Dinner at C. Ellet’s, A night out at The Battery, Waffle House
Saturday: Brunch at South City Kitchen, Shopping in Buckhead, Dinner at Chai Yo
Sunday: Brunch at Cafe Intermezzo, then back to the airport
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are so many people who have supported me and cheered me on this business journey. My greatest advocate has to be my husband, who knows and understands my career passions more than anyone because he sees the hard work behind the scenes daily. I also have a great, tight-knit group of friends who never hesitate to ask about the business and cheer me on in all my endeavors. Finally, my business friends, team, and coaches who hold me accountable at every step and let me know that THIS is the right path, even when I’m feeling unsure from time to time.
