We had the good fortune of connecting with Raymond Turner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Raymond, how do you think about risk?
Risk taking is legitimately the main part of my life/career. Moving to Atlanta and chasing my dreams was one of the biggest risk I took. Believing that I was put on this earth for a reason, and knowing that risk taking may be uncomfortable but you can never grow in your comfort zone. If I want the life I dreamed of I must take risk. Therefore, also have the faith that those risk will bring success.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My journey was no where near easy. I had to keep my dreams bright and alive even when the world around me was dark. Having a father that wasn’t present and a mom that struggled with drugs and overall a chaotic family, I had to grow up faster then normal. In addition, ignore the street life that was constantly presented to me. I want the world to know your tongue has power and you can live the life you manifest and believe in. I spoke my mom back into my life and she has been clean for 8+ years , therefore I speak nothing but success on my career. Lastly, you will never reach your peak because there is not ending to your ability.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m fairly new to Atlanta and most of my time go to dance and networking. Therefore, I don’t know many places but I would definitely say: First we will go hit up some malls to get the swag right. Then grab some food on the belt line, which is full of different places and people. Lastly, put on them fits from the mall and hit up the skyline park for a rooftop turn up.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Giving one person a shoutout doesn’t feel right when it’s a few people I know that poured into my life at the right time. My family and friends have definitely lifted me up in the right time and right place. So it’s only right to shoutout God for placing the right people in my life.
