Meet RaNer Quantez Collins | Movie/TV Show Content Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with RaNer Quantez Collins and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi RaNer Quantez, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have had a love and passion for movies and film since I was a kid. I used to watch at least 2-3 movies a day when I was little. I watched so many movies that I broke my DVD and VCR player from pressing rewind and fast-forward buttons A LOT!. Movies and TV are magical! Along with that, I get to see the world and creativity through the director’s eyes. Not only is it a 1-2 hour escape, but you also get to see people who are interested in the same things that interest you.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am most proud of following through on becoming a Movie/TV content influencer on social media. What sets me apart from the others is talking about my love for film with the world, and actually seeing and building relationships with my followers who enjoy movies and shows just as much as I do. How I got to where I am today is changing my point of view and mastering my craft on social media. IT IS NOT EASY AT ALL, it takes time and patience, AND IDENTIFYING WHAT YOU LOVE TO DO OR TALK ABOUT when it comes to being an influencer!. What I did to overcome the challenges was to sit back and take notes on the correct terms and language within the film industry. One lesson I learned is that not everyone is going to agree with what you say about a movie or TV show, but that’s okay, because everyone has different tastes. What I want people to know about my content is that your opinion is always welcome, and even if we don’t agree on a movie or show, we can still bond over films/shows that we have in common.

The biggest shoutout goes out to my beautiful and loving wife, Cayla Collins, and my son, Ayden. They continue to support, love, and push me to keep going and become the best version of myself. I strive to be the best for them! I love my city of St.Louis!
