We had the good fortune of connecting with Quadir Thomas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Quadir, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My process was to start something fun for all involved. Something that would last for ever and would be loved by a bunch of people. I don’t do many things well, so this was the easiest for me.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is connection creatives to the business world. I do it by being fair when no-one ask me to be and I believe that sets me apart. I got here slow and steady yet I was able to ingest all the good that was there to enjoy.
I’ve learned so much but one of the greatest lessons was to never get too bent out of shape over the small stuff because tomorrow is another day to make a great impact.
I just want the world to know know and remember me as a non perfect person that tried to make up for whatever sadness or distressed I’ve caused.
I want folks to have a great thought of what my brand stands for just by looking at it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would visit a bunch of restaurants BK Lobster, Escobar, Slutty Vegan, Egg Harbor to name a few. I would visit art gallery’s and attend a few fashion showcases. I would end the night at any sophisticated urban lounge like Rock Steady in Atlanta

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
This may sound corny but I took a lil something from everyone I’ve ever been around. I’m Muslim so I try to keep my actions conservative yet impactful. I do read a lot and I solicit inspiration from my family. I am most inspired by my son Lil Quadir, because he’s a pretty smart guy whos living his best life.
