We had the good fortune of connecting with Precious Azuka and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Precious, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Trying and making mistakes. Putting myself out there as much as I can and not giving up when people don’t see my vision. I always bet on myself no matter where I am or what other people say because only I truly know what I am capable of. Also not being afraid of being seen trying.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Hi everyone, I am Precious and I am a creative. I do a couple of different things to diverse my work. I have been a model for a few years now and as my first love, I cherish the opportunity to truly be myself and work with other amazing creatives. This has given me the ability to do many other creative things in the community. As a fashion enthusiast who is also interested in Business, I just graduated with my BBA in marketing and I am looking forward to applying that to my future in fashion Business. I also own a small business as a crochet artist.
So far I have learned so much in my journey of self discovery, being able to give myself space to make mistakes and give myself grace has been one of my biggest lessons.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spots in the area are honestly the spots that are not talked about much.
Parks/outdoors- sweet water creek
Food- Any restaurant on Buford hwy. (El Rey del taco, pho 24, food terminal)
Walking the belt line is also so much fun and Boba from Ding tea Atlanta or Kung fu tea!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shout out all the people in my life that support and love me, and the creatives I’ve worked with and still work with!
