We had the good fortune of connecting with Patrick Lamont Jr and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Patrick, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Most Important Factor? … This is a difficult question, because there are so many important factors that continue to Manifest my success. If i had to give one, i would ultimately chalk it up to the Belief in My Vision. My Ultimate Vision is to inspire people to love themselves unconditionally and follow their dreams while I discover the same journey as well. The Belief in my vision adds a passion and love into my life, that allows me to be Positive, Patient, Hard Working and Persistent. Through being positive and persistent, I remain open minded to new opportunities and possibilities that can bring me closer to my vision. Through hard-work, i build amazing relationships with a wide range of people, who know my work ethic and enjoys my positive energy and wants to see me win. Then with Patience i allow myself to simply enjoy the process, and see how it all comes together. I Think overall you have to have an undying believe in yourself. Don’t Take No for an answer, but create your Yes! Be Nice to people. Exude a Loving Energy so that Love can come back to you in every form you want and need.

Actor/ Owner of Bookings of Bookings Taping Service I am a Professional Actor here in Atlanta. I’ve appeared on Hit Shows “Star” and “Black Lightening”. My most recent booking, Include a film that is scheduled to release sometime this year (maybe next year after the pandemic) named “Money Plane”. Its my first lead role in a film, and there are some pretty big names, Including Kelsey Grammer, Denise Richards, Adam Copeland and Thomas Jane. I am so excited for people to see it! It wasn’t easy but i really can’t say it was hard either. My Journey here in Atlanta has been quite exciting with ups and downs; I’ve been evicted, slept on coaches, and jobless, but my drive and belief in myself never let me give up. Through my hardest times, i still found ways to invest into acting. I would take the bus to a train to another bus, just to then walk a few miles to get to auditions. I LOVE IT! Eventually things start to come together, i got a job, started to book little roles here and there. I started interning at an Acting studio, which really granted me the surroundings of the Acting world and business. Started making great connections. Got an Agent. Then things just continued to grow. They still are happening. Today i run my own business, Bookings on Bookings, taping self-tape auditions for actors. A self-tape audition is pretty much the way professional actors audition for T.V shows and Movies now. It is Much easier for a Casting Director to watch auditions on their phone or laptop than to have 100+ people at your office every day. So they send out scenes/sides to the actors that they want to see, those actors then will tape the scene themselves or go to a professional taping service to audition the scene and send it back to the Casting Director. Interning at Get Scene Studios, i would assist with taping all the time, and built a great relationship with tons of actor. In January 2019 i started my own service, Bookings on Bookings. The first year was honestly scary AF. Will i be able to do this? This was going to be my main source of income, so i didn’t know what to expect. I am proud to say that it all worked out perfectly, i built a great clientele and people love to work with me and now its been over a year. I also started to Uber and Lyft to make extra money when i could, to help with bills and everything. There were definitely a few times MOST things got paid late, but ay they got paid lol. The lessons i’ve learned is to just trust the process, be patient and stay persistent and stay positive. There will be times that seem like everything is going wrong and you won’t make it but you have to truly stay in good spirits and work hard and trust it will all work out at the end. It Normally does. Overall i want the world to know that we can all be successful in our own right. Whatever success means to you, you can achieve it and will if you believe and fight for it.
