Meet Nikita Vega

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nikita Vega and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nikita, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The important factor to me it’s the imagination, find my own style which I had been unconsciously developing since I was a little and not give up.

Social media can affect me psychologically, they “playing with me” playing with the artist, one day you have good views and the other day no and you can feel bad. I’d been posting art for years and years without any increases in views or sales. I decided to create a new profile, a new beginning without leaving the previous profile or career behind, because I didn’t want to erase that; this will be always be a part of me.

When I created the new profile, I started seeing views and became motivated to keep posting, but without hope, just with “let’s try it out.” Out of nowhere, a post it was done viral , and that’s where my adventure began, my dream of making a living from art, from what I love most.

I’ll never give up acting, because I’m also passionate about it and I have a sense of timing. My current passion is art made with my hands. Who knows, in a few years, acting will be where I’ll grow the most and venture forth.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
It’s not easy to make a living from art, it’s a little complicate on the beginning. You will encounter setbacks or people who will make you doubt yourself, your art, or whether you did something wrong, but today I know who I am. I know that I belong to this world of fantasy art, as well as acting, creating art

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I just love peaceful places, forest, beach (but there can be no humans in the beach, hehe), just me, the wind, the waves and my boyfriend. I really love paint on the nature.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents, they always been supporting me and believing in me.
And my customers, I just LOVE how they react to my art, means a lot to me, it’s fills my heart.
