Meet Naseer Haider Siddiqui | Director & Visual Effects Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Naseer Haider Siddiqui and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Naseer Haider, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have been working as a visual effects artist for over two decades, contributing to major film productions in the Middle East. In 2005, I worked with MTV Arabia as senior animator, but I always felt that true creative freedom comes from being your own boss. The ability to choose my own projects, manage my team, and bring my creative vision to life without limitations inspired me to start my own business. As a content creator, having control over the direction of my work is a privilege, and turning my passion into a business has been a truly rewarding journey.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is all about storytelling through visual effects, 3D animation and motion graphics. What sets me apart is my ability to blend creativity with technical expertise, creating visually stunning content that enhances films, commercials, and digital experiences. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working on major productions across the Middle East, Hollywood, and Bollywood, as well as crafting high-end architectural visualizations and immersive VR experiences.
One of the projects I’m most proud of is my work on large-scale film productions and 360 VR tourism videos, where I’ve brought unique visions to life through cutting-edge technology. What excites me the most is the ever-evolving nature of this industry—there’s always something new to learn, new tools to master, and new stories to tell.
Getting to where I am today was not easy. Building my own production house and expanding my business to the U.S. took years of dedication, late nights, and overcoming countless obstacles. One of the biggest challenges was transitioning from being an artist to running a full-fledged company. Managing teams, handling international clients, and staying ahead of industry trends required constant learning and adaptation.
The key lesson I’ve learned is that passion and perseverance are everything. Success in this field isn’t just about talent – it’s about resilience, networking, and the willingness to push boundaries. I want the world to know that Black Bird Motion Media is more than just a production company, it’s a hub for creativity and innovation. My goal is to provide world-class visual storytelling, whether through film, commercials, or digital content and to continue elevating the art of animation and VFX on a global scale.
I have been deeply involved in Bollywood film productions across the Middle East, handling production, aerial cinematography (Aerial DP), and VFX supervision for major films like Alison, Khiladi, Filhall, Suswagatam Khushamadeed, Welcome Back, and Pathaan. Each project presented unique challenges, from orchestrating complex aerial shots to ensuring seamless integration of visual effects, pushing the boundaries of cinematic storytelling.
It has been an incredible journey to contribute to some of the most remarkable television productions in the Middle East. I had the privilege of working with Dubai TV, Abu Dhabi TV, and MBC Network, the largest television group in the region. Among these projects, I take immense pride in my role as Visual Effects Supervisor and Aerial DP for the critically acclaimed drama series Al-Boom and Slave Market 1 & 2.
These productions required an intense level of commitment, with month-long shoots where I played a critical role in managing the visual effects department and overseeing all aerial filming. Capturing breathtaking aerial sequences and ensuring the highest standards in VFX was a demanding yet deeply rewarding experience that helped elevate the visual impact of these projects.
Beyond films, I have contributed to large-scale government events, high-profile television commercials, and produced over 100 architectural walkthrough animations for mega projects across the United Arab Emirates.
Working on challenging projects with tight deadlines and complex production conditions has always been a driving force in my career. With over 20 years of experience in visual effects, animation, directing, and producing, I have developed the ability to manage and execute projects of all scales, from small productions to large, high-profile ventures.
My ultimate goal is to deliver industry-standard production solutions that push creative boundaries while ensuring client satisfaction remains the highest priority. The production industry is constantly evolving, and I embrace the challenge of staying at the forefront, refining my craft, and delivering exceptional visual storytelling.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting me in Atlanta, I would definitely take them to Downtown Atlanta to experience the city’s energy. One of my favorite places is the Georgia Aquarium, I’ve visited many times with my family and even alone. I have always been fascinated by marine life and seeing these majestic creatures up close, separated by just a thin layer of glass is truly mesmerizing. The underwater world has a unique way of making you feel both small and inspired.
Since my friend is also in the production industry, I would take them to Trilith Studios, one of the most iconic film production hubs in the Atlanta so far what i have seen. Exploring historic cinema halls and the heart of Atlanta’s film scene would be a must. Of course, no visit to Atlanta is complete without a trip to the World of Coca-Cola, a place that embodies both nostalgia and history.
Atlanta’s diverse weather reminds me of my hometown, where you get to experience all four seasons throughout the year. I have been filming my personal projects and scouting locations across Georgia’s breathtaking woodlands and I truly believe this region is an all-year-round filming paradise. The calm atmosphere, the friendly people, and the peaceful neighborhoods make me feel fortunate to be in this part of the U.S. It’s a place where creativity thrives, and I couldn’t ask for a better backdrop for both my work and personal life.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Success is never a solo journey and I am grateful to many people who have supported me along the way. First and foremost, I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my family for their unwavering support, especially during the early days of my career. Their encouragement gave me the confidence to take risks and build my own business.
I also want to acknowledge the incredible mentors and industry professionals I have had the privilege of working with over the years. Collaborating with some of the best talents in the Middle East and Hollywood has shaped my vision and strengthened my skills as a visual effects artist and content creator.
Additionally, I am thankful for my dedicated team at Black Bird Motion Media. Their passion and hard work make every project a success, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. Lastly, the ever-evolving film and animation industry itself has been a great teacher—challenging me to keep learning, innovating, and pushing creative boundaries
