We had the good fortune of connecting with NaRon Usry and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi NaRon, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
My favorite quote/affirmation is as follows “I prefer to be myself, no one else: I am myself & no one else. This quote comes from my mom, Jacqueline Bacon Reid who passed away July 23, 2020 from Congestive Heart/Renal Failure. My mom taught me that being yourself is always the best option. As she was one of my biggest supporters of my business, Mr. Do It All. I’ll always remember her and what she stood for.
What should our readers know about your business?
I am Mr. Do It All, LITERALLY. From Event Planning, to printing custom t-shirts, I’m your guy! I am a young black male entrepreneur who’s big on SUPPORT!! I feel as if supporting one another not only helps others but it helps YOU! As far as my brand, Mr. Do It All was developed in 2018 when I began making and selling cupcakes just to make a few extra bucks, My former name Mr. Cupcake Guy. After awhile of making cupcakes, I purchased a Cricut machine and found a love for creating custom t-shirts. After T-shirts, Event Planning was born and so much more. Mr. Do It All offers a variety of custom creations. The most challenging thing I’ve overcome is Procrastination. This is something I’ve learned to work on each and every day. Which set me aside from the next business? My drive, my ambition and Just plain ole Na”Ron.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am a die hard country guy. A perfect day at a local spot would be here in the BIG city of Sparta, Georgia. Breakfast, of course and then riding horses. I am a cowboy to the death of me. Blue jeans, Boots & A horse is a good enough space for me!! Afterwards, finding a good wing spot & relax.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I dedicate this shoutout to my guardian angels. My father Gregory Usry who passed away on July 29, 2003. Also my mother, Jacqueline Bacon Reid who passed away on July 23, 2020. They truly pushed me to be great and nothing less.
