We had the good fortune of connecting with Naomie Bonnet and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Naomie, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I believe as an entrepreneur you have to be honest with yourself and your business to know there will be calculated and unknown risk. Which both, can and will work for you in business. I have noticed that I am cautious but more inclined to look at all my risk and play them out before I disregard them. I have seen so much growth within myself and my business because of the risks I’ve expounded upon. Those risks have allowed me to offer new services, meet new clients, as well as retain existing clients.
What should our readers know about your business?
My profession as a makeup artist has made me very proud thus far! I am more out going, personable, and driven! I believe that I am set apart due to those attributes and well as the compassion. I love to see others striving to be their own boss! Anytime someone asks, I’m always ready to tell about my journey to help give them a push if they also wanted to step out and take a risk. I can’t say I had a blueprint to becoming a business owner/makeup artist, but I definitely soaked up as much knowledge as I could then, and still to this day! Being a business owner for 5 years has been a beautiful journey. The most important part of the journey to me, is that you never stop learning about whatever it is you do or interest you! Nothing worth fighting for is easy, but the reward for being patient, trusting, and diligent will always give you a great sense of fulfillment. I want the world to know The Blushed By Naomie Brand as one that is for everyone, that seeks to find your inner beauty and joy, and to translate that outward.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout @becollectivemag. The founder, @ellybevents has been such an inspiration as well as a pillar for this industry. With her magazine, she highlights all aspects of beauty, decor, event planning and more! Bridging the gap and growing the network of entrepreneurs.
