We had the good fortune of connecting with Naeemah Muhammad-Neason and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Naeemah, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
“Thoughts become things. If you see it in your mind, you will hold it in your hand.” – Bob Proctor
This is one of my favorite affirmations because it’s simple yet profound. The power of our mind is limitless. If we truly focus on something we want and work towards achieving the goal, we will succeed.
What should our readers know about your business?
At Stay On Pointe Dance Academy LLC, our passion is Dance education. We are a dance company located in douglasville Ga. our dance classes include Ballet, jazz and poms dance. We use dance to teach character development, self esteem and goal setting. We offer in studio and virtual classes. I’m most excited about our upcoming summer classes! I look forward to meeting new students and our end of summer recitals. I begin teaching virtual classes in May in the mist of the pandemic. Our students grew and we were able to partner with Douglasville park and recreation center. I want the world to know that our dance company is a safe place for all dancers regardless of race, size, level of dance experience etc. we are here to create a safe and fun introduction to dance!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Wow this is a hard questions lol I would say to start downtown at the Georgia aquarium, then eat at varsity because it’s a staple in the city of Atlanta! Then walk through piedmont park and watch the sun set.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my mother! My mother is sharrieffiah muhammad. She is the reason I am a dancer. she made sure I was exposed to ballet at a young age. She taught all of her children about the importance of art and culture. My parents were always supportive of my dreams. She recently passed away last September. I always will honor her legacy.
