We had the good fortune of connecting with Myesha Stinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Myesha, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
My most important factor is first having FAITH. My personal relationship with God is very important to me and trusting and believing that everything I put my mind to when it comes to my business will come to pass. Secondly my strong support system which is my family and friends. They’re support has pushed me to my full potential. Lastly it would have to be the support from my Instagram followers, they’re like my online bestie lol that support me wholeheartedly.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
So professionally I work for Amazon. I’ve been working for them for the past 4 years. I started as a part time worker and I moved up to a Process Assistant. I pretty much manage about 100 people, where we are processing packages daily to make sure you guys get them as promised. As we all know Amazon has pretty much taken over Atlanta so work is always busy. This year I’ve had the pleasure to work on the HR side and I must say it’s extremely busy!! Especially during this whole pandemic the warehouse world has changed drastically. One good thing about working at Amazon Its allowed me to promote my business to people I work with. A strong percentage of my clients come from work. It hasn’t been easy trying to juggle a Full-time job and still focus on my business but I’ve made it work. Working at Amazon has developed and built my character when it comes to working with people you don’t necessarily agree with. It’s definitely show me how I can use certain strategies from Amazon into my personal business. Over the last 4 almost 5 years with the company I can definitely see my growth and I’m appreciative of that.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For me im born and raised in Atlanta. Some of my favorites spots to go to would be the Original JR Crickets the original Hot Wing Spot, Atlantic Station for some shopping and good eats, The Vortex for a bomb burger. If you’re into the night life the Compound is always a good spot. If you’re like me and LOVE brunch ATL is the capital of Brunch. One of my recent favorites is the Garden Park. Atlanta has so many gems from the Cocola Factory, The High Museum, The Aquarium and one of my favorite Botanical Gardens. Definitely can’t forget about the Battery park the new Braves at stadium. Has a ton of bars and eating spots. Atlanta is a big city so a full week and you’ll be able to touch all the hot spots.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
God for giving me this amazing gift. My entire family and friends and all of my social media supporters who have been down since 2015!
