We had the good fortune of connecting with Morgan Black and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Morgan, what principle do you value most?
Customer service is the MOST important principle. You can not get anywhere with bad customer service. It does not matter how good your product is. Treating the customers like you care, takes you a long way.
What should our readers know about your business?
My business is a mobile wax company. I also sell sugar scrub and body butter. I became a mobile waxer during the pandemic, making people feel comfortable to get services at home. All sides of the business are hard to do when you’ve never done it before. Having help and guidance definitely allows you to overcome those obstacles. My business is growing due to word of mouth advertising. I am known for being a licensed professional with great customer service. I want the world to know about my brand that whatever is meant for you, will work out in your favor.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love Mexican food! We would search an authentic Mexican restaurant that we’ve never been before. We would then visit different stores. Stores with makeup, preferably! I would also introduce them to a couple of my favorite sweets spots, such as: Sublime donuts, buttermilk sky pie, and jeni’s ice cream! Another cool place to check out is a waterfall on Emory’s campus!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout my family. I have a very strong support system. They have my back when they can, which allows me to not have to do every little thing on my own.
