We had the good fortune of connecting with Monte Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Monte, how do you think about risk?
I believe that taking risks are the very things that can determine the course of someone’s future. If you’re not taking risks, you are inevitably missing out on the possibilities of what COULD be. This is exactly why my brand promotes “No Fear” I want to be able to inspire others to follow their dreams no matter what.
Ever since I was a child I had this dream of being a model. I always took risks. First I was a dancer, I marched in parades, then in middle school I became a cheerleader. Later in high school, I started discovering new things about myself. I learned that I could draw, make wigs, paint, do nails, design clothes! When I discovered these things, I wasted no time with putting myself out there. I stepped out in faith many of times! I started a custom clothing business, I started selling art, and although these things weren’t as successful it didn’t stop me. Taking risks made me the person who I am today. Bold, fierce and courageous.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Today I own a Fitness and Nutrition business, and I recently started a Nonprofit organization. ( Fearfully and Wonderfully Made Ministries ). My fitness business offers meal prep services, online coaching, and fitness training.
My nonprofit organization is there to help the poor and needy, and low income communities. I plan on growing to a ministry that reaches not only Georgia but around the world!
Essentially, my main work is serving others. I don’t see myself as anything Grand, I believe I came here to be a servant. Purpose.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best-friend were visiting the area, I would take her to little 5 points. Mostly because there’s so much art, and sooo many interesting things to see. I would hang out at Atlantic station, have some ice cream, no particular place because I love all food. I would just try something random honestly! Haha
Some of the most fun people to hang around would be those who are free, loving and kind. Most days, you have to be cautious of the people you come around, so I feel people that are full of life with a good energy is always a vibe.
Someone that supports you, and wants to see you win. Everyone needs that kind of support.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shout-out to God first, my grandmother, my mom, and I can’t forget the support of my significant other. He’s a great dad and an amazing friend. He’s believed in me since the minute we first met, back in 9th grade. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today. God has changed me, he turned my life around, and made me a better person.
My grandma always guided me in the way I should go, and she never judged me. I put my grandmother through so much, and she never gave up on me. My mom always believed in me, no matter what. She’s my biggest fan.
Those are the people that matter most to me.
God is everything. He’s the reason I even own a fitness and nutrition business today! By his guidance!
