Meet Mina Rose | Promo Model, Actress, Brand Ambassador

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mina Rose and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mina, what inspires you?
I’m inspired by ambition, determination, self care and positive affirmations. I believe in the impossible and my hard work to always reach the goals I have set for myself. But my biggest inspiration is my Mom because of her constant love and support with any dream I ever wanted to pursue she always made me feel like I can do anything in the world! One last thing, I believe that you can find inspiration anywhere in the world, all you have to do is just believe.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Good Day, my name is Mina Rose, I started my independent modeling career in 2016. Before that I was with a group that started my modeling career but after a few months I felt that it was time for me to branch out on my own. When I made that decision I honestly didn’t know much about modeling so I had to learn everything on the go as I was doing it. I still remember my first fashion show and casting call, I had no idea how to walk or pose but almost everyone in that show helped me before I did my first walk. One person from that show is now my Life Coach who I inspired to make a career. Being a model is not easy it is a very cut throat wold and you need to have a thick skin. One of the biggest lesson I learned quick was that you always have to be humble and always be ready for any needs that a show or designer needs, that is the fastest way to gain relationships and always be asked to come back. For me to be where I’m at today I had to overcome all of the negative thoughts and energy as well as rejections. I had to understand to always think positive and know that rejections don’t mean a reject it just means you are not part part of the vision they was looking for – when one door closes another one opens. I’m now a Promo Model, the Brand Ambassador for 3 companies, I’m an Actress and a Traveling Assistant for a celebrity DJ. I’m known for my Mohawk, it’s always the first thing you see when I walk into a room and the next is my walk, it will always turn heads! My brand will always be growing and changing because my ideas are endless and I’m always ready for the next opportunity! Believe in your heart and believe in yourself!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oooooo, I like this question! All my friends love sports so I already know we going to a Braves game and spending the day at the Battery till the game starts. Even go further and book a stay at the hotel that’s connected to the stadium. If it’s during fall or winter then we going to a Hawk game or Falcons games. We going shopping at Perimeter, Mall of Georgia or North Georgia Premium Outlets and then we can eat at Velvet Tacos. For the Night Life Crew, we probably go to Opium or Ace Atlanta and vibe out for the night. For the chill days we can go to Your 3Rd Spot and Barber Bistro – where you can eat and get a haircut all in one!
