We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Lenis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michelle, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Be responsible, consistent and do your best.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I was born in Florida with an Italian-German heritage from South American parents, (Venezuela & Colombia) currently living-working in Atlanta, GA. I started modelling at 14 years old after I graduated from Talento Latino Modeling School. I keep myself busy acquiring experience, training, and learning everyday. I’m a HS Senior, a member of a National Honor Society and a Junior Beta. Love to travel, going to the beach, modeling, makeup, and photography. I’ve worked with designers, photographers, and artists, demonstrating the versatility of my looks. I’ve been part, as a runway and exhibit model of the Georgia Peach Fashion Week, the Art Meso International Art and Fashion Exhibition, The Society Fashion Week Miami Edition, and other shows. Also I am a Teen Board Member of Cinderella’s Gowns Boutique in Lilburn, GA, a brand ambassador for Passion Wayuu, Gipsy Chic Venezuela, and HH Hotel & Home Colombia. Also worked as an extra for a DC Universal TV production. In my free time, I like to polish my makeup and photography skills, travel, and spend time with my family and friends. It has not been easy, to get ahead you have to work very hard, be constant in your training to improve every day. If you want to go forward, you don’t have to give up, anything is possible.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
To visit: Atlanta BeltLine, Ponce City Market, the Aquarium, Piedmont Park, the Fernbank Museum of National History, Botanical Garden, Helen. To eat: The Varsity, Hard Rock Cafe, Dreamland BBQ, Nacho Daddy in Duluth, GA.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family are my big support. They pushed me to be better every day.
