Meet Micah Baisden

Today we’re excited to be connecting with Micah Baisden again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Micah , we are so thrilled to be connecting again and can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to. Before we jump into all of that, some of our readers might have missed our prior interview, so can you take a moment to reintroduce yourself?
I’m Micah Baisden, 33 years old from Albany, Ga. I’m the owner and lead personal trainer of PowerHouse Sports Academy located in Tucker, Georgia. What sets me apart in my industry is my knowledge of my craft. I have a masters in Kinesiology from UTEP (2017) and I have been certified personal trainer for 10 years through America Muscle and Fitness (2015), I have been training in the fitness industry for 14 years and a business owner for 9 years. What also sets me apart as well is my versatility in my training arsenals. My ability to use various training styles to accomplish and exceed my clients’ fitness goals and expectations are unmatched! I have blessed to accomplished a lot in this industry from writing two books, currently finishing up two more, to traveling internationally to train people, to training people literally all over the world. My biggest highlight is being able to watch a client from Day 1 when their goals were merely words to living it in reality and watching them grow and changing their mindset along the way for the past 14 years of my life that has the biggest highlight ever!
Awesome, so we reached out because we wanted to hear all about what you have been up to since we last connected.
Since we last spoke life has been amazing for me the good, bad, and indifferent I learned from it all. I’m so thankful that we made it through the pandemic crisis because a lot of gym brand and businesses didn’t make it but we did so I’m thankful to everyone who supported us through those times. Overall business actually never slowed down since our last conversation. Currently working on different projects to put PowerHouse in a different light while staying authentic to myself and our mission statement. Shooting content with other gym brands and other businesses to bring more light/traffic to PowerHouse, In person and Online training is thriving, more people are reaching out to see how can they be apart of us and our family and the biggest thing/update is us focusing on getting our own stand-alone building and land so we can continue living our dream and continue impacting people lives in a positive way.
