We had the good fortune of connecting with Marsh’e Franklin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marsh’e, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking risk is a huge thing for me and my brand . When I first started Marsh’e Line I was nervous to failed I was nervous that I wasn’t going to get sales or even get clients attention but I had that mistake I keep pushing for my brand it did take time for my brand to get up there and be successful but I did take a lot of risk that were successful. Around August/ September I had a viral video on TikTok that changed my life , Juneteenth I did a pop up shop that was amazing to experience . Around thanksgiving I took a risk and started to sell toddler clothing for little girls and it went so amazing and I’m so proud of my brand , also sell a new accessories to my brand eyelashes and it was a success. Taking risk definitely played a huge role in my business.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Growing up I really never had a childhood, when I was 12 I started to work with my mom with our business which is C-Ray Finest we are a event planner and we been in business for about 7 years !! I love working with mom she is so inspiring . In my teenage life I decided to start my own business and I did I sell mink lashes for a few months then I talked to my mom one day while we were at a event and said mom I want to start my clothing business when I get a little more older and she told me why ? Start now ! Follow your dreams and I said okay and even since then I went so hard for my brand . It was a lot of challenges staring out but instead of getting frustrated I took the process step by step and one day my brand just blew up and I’m so blessed and excited. The lesson is to keep going and going ti reach my dreams . I want the world to know that my brand is my dream and I can’t wait to be the next fashion nova. And also can’t wait to tell my story on tv , have my brand on billboards those are my goals I know god have a lot planned for my brand in the future and I am so ready for it . And no it wasn’t easy . I am still reaching goals today I am now wanting to do lip gloss to my brand and so much more . I have alot i want to do for my brand .i got to where I am today by keep being ME , promoting and telling my story

I want to say thank you god for making all this happen. Also would like to thank my mom she support my brand so much she is my role model I look up to her . She is amazing business partner I love her so much and I never see that women stop she keeping going , she keep the hustle going she encourage me through the ups and downs. She gives her honest opinions about my ideas for Marsh’e Line she is my best friend. Also another shoutout to my brand ambassadors they work so hard to get Marsh’e Line the next fashion nova because I believe my brand will be the next fashion nova!! They love hearing my dreams they are amazing. Also would love to recognize my supporters without my supporters the brand wouldn’t run a smooth. And to my family they help out as well .
