We had the good fortune of connecting with Marianna Jazmine and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marianna, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I am the biggest risk taker, I will invest everything I have into an idea and won’t look back. Doing this has helped me significantly from failures to successes taking risks has taught me how to defeat obstacles which has also helped me become extremely wise in business ventures.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have a vast love for art and bringing artists together. The arts that I’m most involved with are Jazz Vocalist, Fashion ( Fashion Designer and Runway Show Coordinator) I also am the founder of the Wing It Music Festival (Art Based Music Festival). In which I am extremely excited to be releasing my album this year and coordinating my art festival this year in Atlanta and St. Petersburg Fl.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So, I have 2 homes and I bounce between St. Petersburg Fl and Atlanta Georgia. My favorite place to go to in St. Petersburg is Ruby’s Elixir and also the warehouse arts district. I have a thing for live music and art! In Atlanta my Favorite spot is Kats Cafe. It’s a female owned Jazz Bar. I perform there often (same with rubys elixir) Kat is the owner she’s such a bad ass.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My father Mario Mitchell R.I.P he is my greatest inspiration. He taught me entrepreneurship at an extremely young age and always spoke positively to me. Noticed my love for art (Jazz, Fashion, Event Planning) and pushed me towards them. Losing him has made life much more difficult I miss him so.
