Hi LaRihanna, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought of starting my business was all about the look! I wear makeup to Enhance my beauty not to make me look beautiful. Lot of women get it confused with what Makeup about. Lot of women want to wear makeup to feel/look beautiful but for me beauty are within. Makeup shines light on the physical body. And every time I put a lip gloss or lipstick on my friends/family love it. So why not start something that will inspire women to wear no matter your shades or color.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Like the saying goes Jack of all tracks. I’m a fashion model, business woman, red Carpet host. When I realized I can fit anywhere that’s when my Strength started. It wasn’t easy finding myself and what I want to do. I’ll help entertainers on projects and stay behind the scenes a lot until one faithful day I was at a concert in Maryland just doing behind the scene work as usual and the Videographer have me interview Nigerian artist Kiss Daniel, he said to me I just wanted to see your faith and you don’t need to be behind the scene you’re made for the camera from that day I believe in myself. Started hosting events and I put two personalities out there. When I’m in front the camera I’m LaRihanna, home in Laura. The name LaRihanna came from Rihanna I’m a big fan of RiRi. I took the LA from my name and add it to Rihanna so here we go LaRihnna.

I started my business with just lip gloss and lashes ones my business start to grow I said to myself why not start a brand and I name her COACHLux. The name COACHLux came from me coaching and working with people behind the scenes. Lux stands for luxury so u can spend less and still look luxury here with go COACHLux. I started to focus on COACHLux and move forward. My biggest lesson I’ve learned is don’t let anyone stop or tell you that you can’t. Starting is hard but once you put your mind to it you will. It’s ok to fall but will I stay on the ground forever the answer is NO! The world need to know COACHLux is my baby and my journey just began.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a big fan of Sports and Music. Favorite team is LA Lakers and Kobe Bryant is my heart ♥️ RIP Legend. I cried when he retired and passed. We watched basketball game all week long. When Usher or Rihanna in my city we going to see them. All my friends know how much I love me some Ush!!!!! If we’re going to a African event we’re going to see Liberian artist T Markus or ShineP hands down.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I will love to give credit to my boyfriend Broddrick. Broddrick will go around telling people about my lip gloss and lashes, send out my business card and just telling his friends to try it. He’s one of my biggest supporter. Another support is my girlfriends Lydia & Princess these two ladies support me in everything especially Lydia… Lydia is alway on the go to listen and pick up my calls.
