We had the good fortune of connecting with Krystal Jadore and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Krystal, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My vision behind starting iBIEC Hive was to create and strive to give the youth and young adults something to look up to as a role model and mentor. By starting my own outreach/business, iBIEC Hive allows me to perform at my fullest potential for outreaching to unique individuals to show them life is not controlled by how the world portrays you should be, when it comes to being unique and just simply being YOU!

My motto, through iBIEC Hive exuberates that “Life is full of everything you put your heart and mind to believe you can accomplish by making healthy decisions for your fullest potential to shine again and again in the world.” I’m a woman of restoration and rebuilding.

Through iBIEC Hive we shall walk among our peers as upstanding citizens of our communities. Without, losing stride, we shall believe, conquer, and destroy barriers that keep us from being the best we know how to be. Our success is not based on our skills.

Our success is based on our ability to come together as a unit and utilize our skills in the most professional manner to accomplish the task at hand. We are a beautiful representation of ourselves and those like us who strive to be the best. We are original and unique the way we are and without fault.

We cannot accept the fate of a losing battle, because we are more than conquerors. Our faith in our ability is strong and our determination is one of a kind. We are made to be one of a kind individually and combined. Therefore, we do not accept defeat. With every lesson life gives us, we learn from it, and we become better. We become the best by doing our best. We are iBIEC Hive. We Believe, Inspire, Empower, and Conquer.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our culture at iBIEC Hive is to provide a platform for the youth and young adults to learn, socialize, have fun, and to feel welcomed and respected. We are here to educate, inspire, empower, and transform our minds, perspectives, and bodies to be positive forces in the world. The strongest determiner of our success is a strong village, whether it’s involvement from family or the community. iBIEC Hive provides multiple programs that each person can take part in. We offer a learning curriculum for ages 3-5, mentoring, tutoring, dance, sports (basketball), community and in house events, and so much more!

What sets me apart from others is my compassion, my drive, my focus, and my determination to provide a platform that others may not offer in their state or community. I look at myself as a leader. I believe that relating well to others, you must first believe that you can lead. Knowing that you have the knowledge, the skills, ability, and values. And of course, we don’t know it all, so I’m always willing to learn to get me where I need to be in my life journey.

Understanding myself helps me better understand others and that type of self-knowledge makes a difference. At the end of it all it’s about how others see and recognize you as a leader based on your behavior. I’m committed, and I’m fully invested. I believe in others, the process, and the goals. I’m super excited to see where the Hive takes us and the changes that will take place in our iBIEC Hive youth.

Getting to where I am now was learned through trials and tribulations. Not knowing the outcome and doing it all by myself was the hardest part of it all. My faith and dedication were being tested. Wanting to give up after having the vision for all these years, and not being where I thought I should have been at that moment became overwhelming and very frustrating. It just wasn’t my time yet. Maybe I still had some self-searching and forgiving to do to be able to pour into others.

I knew what I had to offer, and that was something unique and original. I had something that all could benefit from and in my mind, I should have a building, and the Hive should be overflowing with kids, and that was just not happening. I have the kids, but still no building. While I was going through the back-and-forth emotions, I couldn’t lose my faith, I had to continue to work through it. “Faith without WORKS is dead”. And I also knew deep down in my heart that I wasn’t given this vision, and the compassion that I have for the Hive for no reason. I couldn’t allow anyone or anything to stop me from doing what I was called to do, and that was to believe, inspire, empower, and conquer through it all. The Hive is my ministry. The lesson learned is to never lose hope. Trust in God, yourself, and the vision that has been set forth and already written.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I enjoy being amongst the community with positive people and businesses that offer something different, and where people can express themselves in unique ways. I would have to say going to a Music and Art festival is a whole vibe! Whether it’s a Caribbean festival, Reggae in the Park, etc. Being amongst other cultures with delicious cuisine, art, shopping, and live music performances is an experience.

Little Five Points is one of my favorites. The uniqueness and originality from the people to the stores, restaurants, and the artwork is amazing!

A few other places on my list would have to be Atlanta Botanical Garden, which brings serenity, and peace. Biophilia “The Love of Life”.

When I need a place to relax and to be pampered Lifetime Fitness and Jeju Sauna are two of my favorite places. They provide a refreshing and memorable experience each time that you visit, and it’s nothing like a peaceful and calm environment. Chateau Elan would have to be one of my top winery resorts in Georgia. I enjoy the countless activities, hospitality, accommodations, and dining all in one place.

And because I love the game of Basketball, I couldn’t leave out enjoying a night at the Hawks game or catching the Wolverton Wolves Men’s Semi-Pro basketball team.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, I would like to thank God for the vision, strength, wisdom, and a life journey that I am thankful for every step of the way, for every lesson learned, and every challenge overcome. As my unknown continues, I will embrace every moment of it without doubt, fear, and holdbacks.

Second, I would like to thank my children for their bountiful energy which keeps me young lol, and for them just simply being unique and original in their own way. How do I stay so strong? They never allowed my crown to fall.
