We had the good fortune of connecting with Khamari Frazier and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Khamari, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Patience “Be patient everything will come in your favor over time“ . This is important to me because I’m not patient . I have to learn patience and with that I know bigger and better things will happen over time.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started styling my own clothes at the age of 2. Fashion has been a part of me always. At first I was styling then I was sketching and now I’m designing clothes. Being a Fashion designer gives me room to express my creativity. What sets me part from others is that I can design it all I can create something out of nothing . If you name it I can design it. Each day I’m Still learning to be a successful entrepreneur . “How did I get here” I was just making Things for fun then my family and friend’s asked to purchase so then I decided to expand my business to others.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spots in Atlanta are Piedmont park. We would visit the Kpop store and go to hibachi restaurants. Also site seeing downtown ATL because it’s amazing to see how things have changed since I was born and also go get some boba tea. I would take my favorite nail salon. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mom because she believes in me and she pushes me to be the best of my ability. Also because she prays with me, over me, and for me. My grandmother (Nicole )because she inspires with her creativity. We have a very special bond.
