We had the good fortune of connecting with Keshea Way and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Keshea, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
I am inspired by the dreams of others. I love to listen to their dreams and goals then assist them with seeing the full picture of what they have inside of them.
What should our readers know about your business?
I coach women in the service based-industry by streamlining and simplifying their ideas, implementing their goals and aligning their CEO level mindset for increased sales and profits. I offer a 16 Week Coaching Program, Journey to Scale. Journey to Scale is a hightouch program that helps you create a signature offer in the high ticket space, create a CEO productivity schedule and automation recommendations to service their clients. Also I assist with creating a market research plan in place to pivot.
Taking the leap to start a business was always a dream of mine but it became a reality after a life altering experience. Going from trial to triumph due to a stage 4 cancer diagnosis it pushed me to want to share my gift as a visionary leader with the world. I think each of us have a unique gift that sets us apart but I think the gift shows up differently according to who we are impacting. This journey has not been easy, there are times where you second guess yourself but you shake it off and move forward by re-centering and thinking of why you began. I’ve learned it’s ok to slow down to speed up because someone’s dream may be delayed if you quit. I want others to know our journey is not a straight path, there are hills, valleys, and mountains to climb. This was proven as I was faced with many life altering events from a diagnosis that affected my entire family. Yet I am here to share my gift!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Exposing a friend to the area would be relatively easy and relaxing. I am very low key but I would definitely visit some of my favorite places in the city! Our first stop would be Asia Rose Spa located in Virginia Highlands where we can get rejuvenated and pampered by my favorite Esthetician Richelle. We would have to travel outside of the city to Conyers and visit Corks and Cuvee for wine tasting and just a little fun to say cheers to a happy week. Shopping would be involved as well so we would have to visit The Village Retail at Ponce City Market to support the local entrepreneurs. Food is everything right? So to indulge in the food it would be a must to visit Big Mike Tacos and the Food Truck Yard to experience the various vendors. Choosing to visit these locations would allow us to experience the true Atlanta that provides opportunities for everyone!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many people that I would love to shoutout! When you think about who has influenced you and inspired you on your journey for me it’s hard to choose just one person. My first shout out would be Pastor Audrey Hawkins, my go to for all things spiritual and she is a great friend as well. We were connected spiritually and we have been rocking since we connected. My next person would be my day one, my niece Amir G’Nae! She labeled herself my day one and she motivates me and gives me the drive to show up. Finally my brother Dr. Antonio G. Hill who is no longer here physically. He transitioned in August of 2019 from cancer but remains a constant in my heart and in my daily thoughts. My brother taught me so much and he continues to do so.
