We had the good fortune of connecting with Keirra Mcleod and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keirra, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind the success of The Boss Vault is really in the resilience and commitment I’ve committed to the brand. I’ve had to adapt time and time again – learning from my failures while remaining committed to the vision. This includes staying on top of changes in the industry and keeping a clear understanding of my particular market.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Boss Vault takes a holistic approach in our practice which automatically separates us from many other beauty businesses. This includes using mostly all natural products in our services. We promote relaxation during appointments and offer personal consultations that consider each client’s unique need. My commitment to have a holistic approach to our work enhances the experience for my clients, while fostering a deeper connection to them through trust and loyalty. I’m most proud of graduating college, then esthetics school all while surviving COVID, ALL WHILE SERVING MY COMMUNITY. Whew! Any time I had any availability, I dedicated to my clients. Looking back I don’t know HOW but nothing but GOD got me where I am now along with determination. I trusted I wasn’t carried this far to be left so I never allowed any obstacle to become a real hurdle. I just kept going. One thing the world should know about The Boss Vault, it’s that we surpass simple Aesthetics. Our main focus is the overall wellness and self-care in/for all. We want to be a support system in the journey of our clients to the best version of themselves.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Now, my best friend would know I’m new to the city and still learning but I do have a few spots. In a week, we would get massages, EAT everywhere ( I love Rays on the River, Party of 5, Nouveau, Tacos N Tequila, 1942.. to name a few), visit Ponce City Market, ride bikes on the beltline, visit Piedmont (I love a good park), maybe even go to a concert/game, an arcade, skating, bowling, or axe throwing. This doesn’t include whatever events may be taking place at that current time. It wouldn’t be me if we didn’t do at least ONE networking event to spread some brand awareness. The bakery is one of my favorite places to network right now. I would possibly even introduce my bestie to my community sisters where I am an active member of the National Council of Negro Women. They are definitely the most exciting people I know here so far. These are all of my favorite things to do currently!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
When it comes to the credit of this whole thing, my clients deserve all the credit. My clients inspire me and keep me motivated. There have been times I was close, so close to thinking I wanted to quit over the years and my clients kept me uplifted and grounded. The support I receive is truly remarkable. My clients and my family- That’s the inner circle keeping this whole show airing season after season!
