We had the good fortune of connecting with Kasey Prince and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kasey, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
As a Walton County Native; it is important to me and The Prince Group that we Live Where We Give. We Live, Work, & Play in Walton County. We know the area well, other local agents, and they know us! We are not just your area Experts – We are Your Neighbors! We Love & Support our Community! We are highly involved with local events in Monroe and surrounding areas of Walton county. We live in Monroe and my daughter goes to school in Monroe. It is important to us to not only know the area and the local market; but to also contribute to the county’s positive growth, inspire the future as business owners, and create an environment where people want to live, work, & play as well.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
One of the things that sets The Prince Group apart is that we are a Mother/Daughter Team. Those are rare in real estate. We have also had a long (22 Year) career together. Not only as a woman owned Team; but we are also a family business. We take our brand seriously and work mostly by referrals these days. We are proud to be Walton County Natives. We have seen many changes come to our county and genuinely care about its future. We also care about our clients and most become like Family as well! The highest compliment we can be paid is a Referral or Repeat Business. We truly value our clients; their Loyalty, their Trust in Us, and their Referrals.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
EEK!! One of my Favorite things is to show off my Sweet Little Town ~ Monroe, GA! We’d start off at The Coffee Camper for a yummy drink and their Amazing Avocado Toast. Then, we’d shop! And Man, is there Shopping?!! Some of my Favorites are Saltbox Lane for Home Furnishings, Rinse for fun homemade soaps and lotions (Made Right Here in Monroe, GA USA!, The Story Shop for a book or a stop for Kids Play Time (It’s Magical), We’d have lunch outside at The Roe~ a trendy restaurant and market. We’d stroll through the Monroe Mercantile to find treasures and Walk to The Mills for antiquing (Did you know that Monroe is the Antique Capital of Georgia?!) At this point, we would need a snack or maybe ice scream at Scoops for a pick-me-up. Dinner choices are plenty like, LR Burger, Amici, or South on Broad. If we are lucky, we might time things just right for a Free outdoor concert – one of the many Free events that the city of Monroe provides. The next day, we’d recover with a leisurely brunch at Silver Queen, followed by a Spa Day at Cultivate. I’d send my friend home with gifts from American Trilogy, The Armory Bookstore, and JL Designs ~ Who doesn’t love Fresh Flowers from the Flower Bar?!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My Shoutout has to be My Mom!! She is my Business Partner of 22 Years!! We got our real estate licenses one month apart when I was a freshman at The University of Georgia and only 17 years old. I was the youngest in my class. My Mom and I have built The Prince Group into a successful Real Estate Business that focuses on Walton County and surrounding areas in Georgia. She has always encouraged me, gives great advice, and loves fiercely. Together; we make a great team that balances each other. We pride ourselves on customer services, integrity, and working hard for our clients. We have seen a lot over our 22 Year Career and the various real estate markets – having survived one of the worst downturns in real estate history. Our commitment to clients, each other, and our reputation in the community have contributed to our lasting success.
