Meet Kareem Amado | Entrepreneur, Brand Ambassador, Dancer, Model, Actor, & Host

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kareem Amado and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kareem, what do you attribute your success to?
Keeping God first and seeking Him is the foundation upon which everything else is built. For me, it’s not about achieving success, but about staying true to my purpose and allowing my faith to guide me in every decision I make. When you put God first, you open yourself up to infinite possibilities and blessings. It’s not about seeking validation from the world, but about staying grounded in your values and principles.
In my brand, we prioritize integrity, humility, and kindness. I believe that when you operate from a place of love and compassion, you attract the right people and opportunities that align with your vision. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about being authentic and transparent in your journey.
By keeping God at the forefront, we’re reminded that our success is not our own, but a gift from above. This mindset allows me to stay humble, grateful, and focused on the greater good. It’s not about individual achievement, but about using my talents and resources to make a positive impact on the world.
So, the most important factor behind my success is my unwavering commitment to my faith and values. It’s the anchor that holds me steady in the midst of chaos, and the driving force that propels me towards our purpose. When you put God first, you’ll be amazed at what can be accomplished.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m truly a renansaiance man and never seen myself as that until I was called this by a numerous of people I have encountered on my journey. I now can see why because I dont stick to just one lane of work. I’m a dancer, singer, actor, model, host, and entrepreneur. I first realized my multifaceted nature when I was juggling multiple projects simultaneously, and people would ask me, “How do you do it all?” I’d simply smile and say, “Passion has no boundaries.” As a dancer, I’ve had the privilege of performing on international stages, interview renowned choreographers, and even choreographing my own pieces. Singing has allowed me to express my emotions through lyrics, and I’ve been fortunate to share my gift with those in my church. Acting has given me the opportunity to tap into different characters, and I’ve landed roles in films, television shows, and commercials. Modeling has taught me the art of confidence, and I’ve walked the runway for designers in Boston and New York. Hosting events has honed my skills in public speaking, and I’ve emceed for high-profile gatherings. And as an entrepreneur, I’ve launched my own media company, which focuses on creating content that inspires and uplifts.
What sets me apart is my ability to adapt and evolve. I’m constantly seeking new challenges and ways to push myself creatively. I’m most proud of my perseverance and resilience. The journey to where I am today was not easy. There were times when I faced rejection, self-doubt, and uncertainty. But I’ve learned that those obstacles are opportunities for growth. I overcame them by focusing on my strengths, surrounding myself with positive influences, and staying true to my vision.
One of the most significant lessons I’ve learned is the importance of authenticity. In an industry where conformity can be tempting, I’ve realized that being unapologetically myself is what sets me apart. I want the world to know that my brand is built on the principles of creativity, inclusivity, and empowerment. I want my story to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness and pursue their passions, even if they seem unconventional.
Ultimately, my art is a reflection of my soul. It’s a fusion of different disciplines, styles, and experiences. I want my work to leave a lasting impact, to make people think, feel, and inspire them to take action. As I continue to evolve as an artist, I’m excited to see where my journey takes me next. The world can expect more innovative projects, collaborations, and initiatives that showcase my Renaissance spirit.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I had to plan the ultimate week-long adventure for my best friend in New York, it would be a whirlwind of excitement, exploration, and endless laughter. Here’s a sneak peek into our dream itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival and a Taste of the City
We’d kick-start our adventure with a classic New York-style breakfast at Russ & Daughters Cafe on the Lower East Side. Their bagels with lox and knishes are a must-try! After fueling up, we’d take a stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge for breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline. To cap off the night, we’d catch a live jazz performance at the iconic Blue Note Jazz Club in Greenwich Village.
Day 2: Art, Culture, and a Dash of Whimsy
We’d spend the morning exploring the world-renowned Metropolitan Museum of Art, where we’d geek out over the Temple of Dendur and the Impressionist galleries. Next, we’d head to the High Line, a former elevated rail line turned park, for a unique perspective on the city. To satisfy our sweet tooth, we’d visit the Museum of Ice Cream, where we’d indulge in interactive exhibits and, of course, delicious ice cream. For dinner, we’d head to Carbone, an over-the-top Italian-American restaurant in Greenwich Village, complete with retro decor and exceptional pasta dishes.
Day 3: Outdoor Adventures
A day in Central Park is a must! We’d rent bikes and ride through the scenic paths, stopping at the Bethesda Fountain and the Loeb Boathouse for a picturesque picnic lunch. If we’re feeling adventurous, we might even take a rowing lesson or rent a boat and enjoy the lake. As the sun sets, we’d head to the Top of the Rock Observation Deck for panoramic views of the city.
Day 4: Foodie Frenzy
We’d dedicate this day to exploring the diverse culinary landscape of New York. We’d start with a visit to Smorgasburg, a weekly market in Brooklyn featuring artisanal food vendors from around the city. Next, we’d head to Xi’an Famous Foods in Chinatown for hand-pulled noodles and spicy lamb burgers. For a sweet treat, we’d visit the original Magnolia Bakery in the West Village, where we’d sample their famous banana pudding. To cap off the night, we’d enjoy cocktails at Attaboy, a secret speakeasy in the Lower East Side.
Day 5: Iconic Landmarks
We’d spend the day ticking off iconic New York landmarks. We’d start at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, a poignant tribute to the city’s resilience. Next, we’d head to the New York Public Library, a stunning Beaux-Arts building with a majestic reading room. For lunch, we’d grab a slice of pizza at Lombardi’s, the first pizzeria in the United States. In the evening, we’d take in the bright lights of Times Square, where we’d catch a Broadway show or visit the Madame Tussauds wax museum.
Day 6: Trendy Neighborhoods
We’d explore the hip neighborhoods of Williamsburg and Bushwick in Brooklyn. We’d browse the trendy vintage shops and art galleries, stopping for coffee at the iconic Cafe Colette. For lunch, we’d head to L & B Spumoni Gardens, a classic Italian deli and pizzeria. In the evening, we’d enjoy live music at the Brooklyn Steel music venue or catch a comedy show at the Bell House.
Day 7: A Grand Finale
Our final day would be a grand finale of New York’s best. We’d start with brunch at Sarabeth’s, a beloved institution on the Upper West Side. Next, we’d take a sunset helicopter tour of the city, offering a breathtaking perspective on the concrete jungle. To cap off the night, we’d enjoy a farewell dinner at Carbone’s sister restaurant, Parm, where we’d feast on mouthwatering chicken parmesan and pasta dishes.
That’s my dream itinerary for a week-long adventure in New York with my best friend. From iconic landmarks to hidden gems, we’d experience the best of the city that never sleeps!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Honestly this might sound cliche but Jesus . Jesus truly has transformed me, empowered me to succeed, and helped me to see the world from a different perspective. His teachings of love, forgiveness, and compassion have been a constant source of guidance and strength in my life. Without His presence, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I’d also like to give a shoutout to my grandfather, who instilled in me the importance of being a man of your word, hard work and selflessness. His selflessness and generosity inspired me to make a positive impact in my community. Additionally, I’d like to acknowledge the authors of “The Twelve Universal Laws of Success” by Dr, Herbert Harris who is also my mentor and my pastors Dr. Jay Stirnemann & Prophet Elijah Yalartai , whose books and teachings have had a profound influence on my personal and professional growth. Lastly, I want to recognize my followers, who have been in my corner, supporting me through thick and thin, and encouraging me to keep pursuing my dreams. This shoutout is a testament to the power of community, faith, and perseverance in shaping our lives.
