We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Bannister and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Justin, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
My inspiration comes from my desire to share what I believe is my God-given purpose to the world ahead of me. I’m inspired by not only achieving success in business, but by creating a life for my family that I did not have growing up. The people that inspire me the most are true leaders that protect and empower his or her’s own people. My inspiration is beyond monetary value, but to provide hope and empathy to those around me. The ability to create opportunity for those I love is priceless. I inspire to inspire others.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Cay Water is a startup that I began in 2019. We provide quality ionized alkaline water with a 9.5 or higher pH balance. What sets us apart from the competition is our ability to package our water in a 98% biodegradable bottle that is 65% compostable. We are working on a 100% compostable bottle in the near future. We want to encourage individuals to “Be Bigger Than Yourself”. From the quality of water to the sustainable packaging I made sure to take focus on each stage of this process to provide a successful product. The biggest lesson I’ve learned along the way is to trust your instincts, follow your vision and never let anyone discourage you. I want the world to know that you can create value from your passions and ideas in life. The key isn’t to be perfect, but to be consistent. I believe that I will one day inspire the next generation, starting with Cay Water. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am extremely grateful for my father. He made me into the man I am today, and taught me to constantly elevate myself into a better man of tomorrow. Words cannot describe the impact that he’s had on my life and the journey we’ve made together. My father has taught me how to be a man and how to be a leader by taking care of others. The lessons he gave me growing up will stick with me forever.
