We had the good fortune of connecting with Joseph Tiller and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joseph, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
You never really know honestly. There have been times where things weren’t going well and it looked like giving up would be the best option. Then a burst of inspiration will get me going again. Giving up is never really the best option it’s just the easiest option. As long as you can find inspiration, keep going.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Think Tea is my brand that I have been building for the past two years now. Aside from selling loose leaf tea blends, we educate on the benefits and versatility of the tea leaf. There is a variety of challenges when building a brand and running a business. Almost everyday I’m trying to figure out how to grow awareness and stay true to the mission. A lot of this is new to me but I’ve learned to appreciate the baby step. Everything doesn’t have to be a giant leap forward for it to feel like progress is being made.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s crazy because I’m really a home-body these days. I don’t even know what or where the hot spots are anymore lol. Probably would hit the belt line, find a brewery or a rooftop patio with a nice wine selection.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My wife and kids definitely deserve a shoutout. I want to make sure they live the most comfortable life possible. They motivate me to go get it. The 4 Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferriss is a book that changed my perspective on how to run a business. That’s a read that I would recommend any entrepreneur.
